Heavier than expected but remarkably easy to assemble. There were some extra parts included with no information about their purpose. (Fortunately, the manual includes a help line which very kindly answered the question.) On the down side, in my average-sized tub, I couldn't get low enough and stretch out far enough for a good submerged soak. However, the perfect ease of getting in and out of the tub safely after two knee replacements, one recent, makes it all worthwhile.

Just received a few days ago - had to watch youtube video to set up. Also is heavier than I thought it would be......but the chair is awesome. I had knee replacement a few months ago and was having trouble getting in and out of tub to soak. This chair is so easy to operate and gives me total peace of mind that I won't fall. The price is good for the product. GREAT CHAIR!!!! So glad I found it.

I have trouble getting in and out of the bathtub. I like baths though over showers.i really needed to find a way to take a bath without needing assistance. Well, this is it. It’s perfect. It really does go all the way down in the bathtub. It functions just as it says. The price of as expected for such convenience. It’s safe to use. It isn’t as heavy as it seems . Oh and it was so easy to assemble. It only took minutes. It came with a quick start guide and a complete guide. The only thing is my tub is small living in an apartment so I cannot stretch out my legs, but it is easier to wash my legs. I guess you can’t have it all, but this use pretty close.

I am 58 yrs old, 5ft 9 and about 230 lbs. My upper body strength is not good as it used to be and I have gotten stiff in my older age, I used to have to roll over on my bad hurting knees to get up out of the tub ALWAYS afraid that I would slip over the edge or fall back into the tub. THIS CHAIR has given me back a luxury in my life that I just adore (bubble baths with my music and wine). Its sturdy doesn't slip and i am not afraid to soak until i'm ready to just crawl into bed. I have regained full confidence in taking long soaking baths. It sits me flat into my tub and lifts me to bended knees where i am not afraid to lean forward to stand. I AM ABSOLUTELY GRATEFUL GRATEFUL GRATEFUL for this affordable chair. A very good investment into self care. my suggestions is to get yourself one and a bag or two of epson salt and enjoy your bath time again.

Awesome product! I’ve had about three months, used it twice when I fall down, played around with it lifting my grandkids and other things testing it multiple times and have not had to charge the batteries yet! A must have if you can’t get off the floor! 65 years old with MS I used to have my son-in-law or my wife help me up on the chair, but with this I can roll on it, lift up and stand up to my Walker! Yeehaw!

My husband and I are both getting older. We’re in our late 70s. Our balance has been really bad lately. I have fallen several times. I have total knee placement in both knees and I cannot kneel to get up if I fall. I’m like a turtle on my back. I found this chair on Amazon and a lightbulb went on. That’s just what I need. I didn’t order it right away thinking oh I have time but having fallen on Mother’s Day while cleaning a grill outside, I turned too quickly hit a small divot in the yard and fell again. My husband came outside and said please order that chair. I did thank God I did. It’s been a lifesaver. My husband cannot lift me up. He has a bad shoulder. This chair is remarkable. You can take it anywhere. You just slide onto it press the remote control and you’re up into a full size chair off the ground so you can stand. You don’t have to call paramedics to come and lift you off the ground. It’s a hey very well-made piece of equipment worth every penny even if it saves you one call to professionals to come and get you off the floor it’s worth it. Don’t wait like I did have it handy before you fall. It will giveyou great peace of mind knowing that it’s there if you need it. Well it’s been a year since I’ve got my lift chair and I’m still using it. I fell getting out of the car in the driveway the other day my husband went into the house and got the chair came out and I was off the ground in 20 seconds thank God for this chair we just ordered a second one because I’m going to keep one in my car and one in the house just in case we’re out and I fall out shopping in a parking lot or something will have means it’s getting me off the ground if no one is around I highly recommend if you have trouble with falling down get this chair it’s still charged. We even haven’t had to charge it once yet that’s how long it keeps a charge you won’t be sorry if you buy this chair it will give you great peace of mind.
