I have a love hate relationship with these. While they do work pretty well, they're a bit hard to install, definitely a learning curve.. In my opinion the little placement tool thing did not work very well. Best advice I can give is to install the lock close to the cabinet/drawer handles. I put mine on the corner of the drawers and it's SO inconvenient to need two hand to open them, but that's on me, not the product. Also, while the lock part sticks VERY well, the little lip piece unsticks easily. We ended up using screws in ours just to be sure they're secure.

My daughter installed this for me and it was very easy to do. It's great that it uses no screw to install but it hold has been great so far. I got this because my grandson comes to my house weekly and I don't want him in a few cabinets. So far he can't get them open even when he keep trying to get in it holds great. And so easy to open the cabinet for my as I have RA and have problems when trying to get in a cabinet with other brands for locks.

Didn’t work at all. None my dresser/drawers/cabinets work with these things. Adhesive comes right off. Install tool doesn’t line up with anything. Easy trash can filler and waste of money.

I bought these child safety locks even though I have no children. I installed them on the cabinet doors in my truck camper. During normal driving or especially when off-roading a bit, the cabinets would pop open and I'd have a mess to clean up. The very last mess involved spaghetti noodles and a very large can of Gatorade! These work great to keep the cabinet doors secure and are easily opened with the included magnet (or any magnet really). Once we get to a camp spot and stop for the night, the locks can be easily disabled so the doors open normally without using the magnet. If I did have little kids, I would definitely consider using these same lock for their intended purpose. They work great and are easy to install. The adhesive is VERY sticky. I used small screws as well for extra security. Due to the style of my cabinets I didn't have much luck with the included installation tool, but they were easy enough to install freehand.

The stick and don't work sometimes to where I had to break in a couple times to get the drawer open and I couldn't get the latch to open and close smooth enough to work with the magnet on 2 of them but the rest of them are working great on the cabinet doors but won't work on the drawers.

These are great! Bought these to keep my grand daughter and cat out if my lower cupboards. Love that they dont have to be locked all the time as the baby is only here a couple times a week. We have thick wooden cabinet doors and the magnets work great. The adhesive is working well, but there are pre drilled holes if you wanted it to be more permanent. Easy to follow instructions and video tutorial for installation. I really love this new concept. Big change from the old ones from when my kids were babies.

Good product & works well. Even though it’s recommended to be installed vertically or horizontally, I’d recommend installing it horizontally from personal experience. I had to remove & reinstall after finding out that the lock worked as intended when pulling the door normally but opened when our one year old pulled it (bcz of his height he was pulling the door downward at the same time as he was trying to pull it open, if that makes sense. I tried to open it the same way & it’d open so ended up going with horizontal installation & now it works as intended)

I love that these are hidden and you don’t have to worry about your child seeing the locking feature and figuring it out. However, the adhesive on my locks has pulled off with my toddler pulling on cabinet doors so you end up having to replace them monthly or so. We ended up switching to different locks on most cabinets.
