This is the third incubator I bought and third time is a charm. Great, sturdy product. Hatched 7 out of 8 eggs on my first run. Nice design, easy to set up and start, the hatch mat was easy to install and worked well. The only flaw I noticed is the rollers only turn one way so the eggs bunch up and stop turning. I did place them point to point and that helped some but you will need to check the eggs every day for bunching. ... show more

    • Unable to use due to very high humidity levels

Edit: Adding a star due to the seller's efforts with service recovery. They have reached out seeking to help address my issues, which is honorable and appreciated. I have already repackaged the unit and will be returning tomorrow, but it's good to know that it appears the company is interested in resolving issues. Original review: Returning due to the unit's very high humidity levels. This unit offers a heated humidifier unit that (supposedly) enables users to dial in a desired humidity level, which is specifically why I purchased it. I can confirm that it DEFINITELY raises humidity levels within the incubator...the problem is that it raises it TOO much. I set this up, with the temp at 100, with a humidity level of 70. I let it come to temperature and then placed a single duck egg inside. After a short period of time there was condensation on the inside cover. This was alarming, so I picked up a meter and placed it inside. While the incubator was showing an interior humidity level of 68% (which is exactly what I WANTED), the meter I placed showed a humidity level of 87%! At this point I removed the fresh air plug and replaced it with the filter screen (the instructions direct you to do this on day THREE). I vented the unit completely to ambient air, reduced desired humidity down to 45%, and resealed the unit. Within minutes, it was back up to 85% humidity. So...while it DOES add humidity, it appears that the unit does not actively monitor and adjust humidity, or at least the unit i received does not. The humidifier just runs constantly. Given the product description and the included instructions, I would assume this means the unit is defective out of the box. Will be returned. Positives: the product is well equipped. Has all sorts of goodies included, which is nice. Unit is large and will hold a large number of eggs. Temperature measurement seems pretty accurate. Negatives: my ONLY gripe is with humidity and that the one I have simply runs the humidifier continually, making it useless to me. I'm now concerned that the single egg I have won't survive after less than one day inside the unit. ... show more

    • Shorted out mid hatch

This incubator did well for 3 hatches then shorted out sparks actually came out of the front. I was setting the temp and humidity for lock down. Then I was searching for a way to keep them warm for hatch while I went to search for another incubator. I lost all but 4 out of 32 button quail. And 2 of them are still struggling. I don't know if they will survive after 2 days. NOT happy with this. I could never find a water bottle that fit the automatic water so I had to put water in every day which means opening the lid which dramatically cools the incubator and lowers the humidity and the little bottle they give you only holds about half the water to fill the tank not to mention the fact that it leaks so you have to go very slowly which increases the time with the cover off and you can't get water anywhere except for the hole which is tiny. I just hatch and brood for some friends who raise quail because I love to help new life, but this was a major loss. And right at the end, hard to tell how many died cause they got too cold or if the 2 that are struggling if it's a temperature issue. All of the other birds I have hatched have been strong and healthy and the eggs came from the same parents as before so I have to assume it is in great part to do with the malfunction mid incubation. ... show more

Much easier than the one I used prior. Automatic waterer attachment is finicky. If you set it lower than the incubator and manually raise it, it works wonderfully to refill the built in tank.. Never had to open incubator which is great.. Temp and humidity come a little off, but was able to set accordingly and had no issue, incubator did a good job keeping my setting where I needed them. Love the range of vision into incubator. Edit: An issue arose with the product. I had nothing but quick responses and the most wonderful customer service I could have hoped for, and I was given a quick resolution. This egg incubator is simple to use and holds egg temperatures well. The water reservoir with automatic filling of the water trenches is a nice addition to the incubator, but it must be refilled every two days to prevent the water alarm from sounding.

Instructions were less than helpful. Lost something in the translation from manufacturer’s language to English. Purchased March 2, quit working April 2. Other than that, I liked the unit, worked well till it didn’t work at all.

The machine is easy to use. We had an issue with something frying out after the first use... contacted the company and they replaced it. They where very nice and understanding didn't give me any hassle what so ever. Will definitely go thru this company again.
