  • Amazing handheld PC!
Color: White
When I decided I was going to get a handheld gaming pc, I shopped around for a few days, reading reviews and comparing different options. I eventually settled on this one and I’m glad I did. I’ve never used the one x player or gpd win, so I don’t have any other experiences to compare it to. But either way, this thing is awesome! First of all, there’s been a few people saying this thing comes with malware, mine didn’t seem to have it but I’m not totally sure cause I reinstalled windows before doing anything. That’s what everyone recommended just to make sure you have the latest updates so I had no problem with that. After I reinstalled everything that I needed on there, I’ve been having a blast with it. I’ve mostly been playing Genshin Impact and all I can say is wow. It runs just as well as it runs on my PS4. I get a solid 60 fps without adjusting any kind of settings. The only thing that’s a little annoying is the battery life, I get about 2 hours when playing that game. But that’s no big deal because I’ve been playing at home and I can plug it in and play while it’s charging. Other than Genshin, the only other games I’ve played have been GameCube games on an emulator. They run perfectly and I’m very impressed. The other thing I love about this device is that it’s about the same size as my switch, just a little thicker and heavier. And even though the screen isn’t an oled or anything, it looks amazing. The colors look great and I have been impressed. The crappy part about the screen is that it has a little bit of light bleed, but I haven’t noticed it too much. Overall, I love this thing and it was definitely worth the purchase. I don’t play any crazy triple A games like cyberpunk so it easily meets my needs. ... show more

  • So dissatisfied it's not even funny
Color: Black
What can I say other than... Junk, just junk. Imperfections in the finish, the left trigger has a snag, the right joystick is loose, windows won't even operate correctly and I cannot open the settings within it so I have to create a media drive and change the bootload menu to install a fresh copy of windows before I even use the thing... Not to mention the rattling fan after about 30 min of use... ... show more

  • This thing is awesome

12/17/21 update: Ordered the replacement from the seller. Was lost in transit. Ended up ordering off eBay since they didn't have the white in stock anymore. Made sure it was the 2021 version. So far no issues. Have had for about a week. Little more cautious about the screen now. As one reviewer showed, you can use the mumba Nintendo switch case for the aya neo and it works out beautifully so I highly recommend that for a case. I asked in the public questions section regarding a warranty and received no answer. I contacted aya directly regarding the warranty and service. Aya told me that I would need to contact the seller for replacement or warranty if a similar issue arises. If no luck from the seller, to then try contacting aya. They do not guarentee being able to help and would not pay for shipping since I bought elsewhere and not directly from them. So keep this in mind in case you have any issues. Realistically aya seemed willing to help me should I have an issue in the future. The cost of shipping might be killer so hoping all goes well. So aya's service in my book is A+ 1 week updAte: so the lcd somehow got screen burn in which is interesting considering I play no more than 2 hours at a time and I don't have static images on it for very long. I'm not removing a star for this mainly because I haven't seen ANY reviews or comments on any platform complaining about lcd burn in. So I'm chalking this one up to just dumb luck and the 1/1000000000 chance I got a bad screen. It happens that's life. You'd be more questioning if it's a notorious issue for a device at this price point. Yeah it shouldn't have that issue but again, I think I'm literally the only person who had the issue (reported at least). Thankfully I was able to request an exchange for a new one through Amazon (thanks Amazon!). Helpful tip: if you can't access the windows settings on your aya neo, make a windows USB drive (windows 10 USB install/repair drive with media creation tool), plug the USB in while at the desktop, run the application to "update" windows. It'll update windows and fix your settings app. Original: I love this thing. Its basically a steam deck and nintendo switch baby. battery is impressive given its capabilities and emulation is just as impresive. Note that most of the games you want to play will need to be ran at 720p/800p on low-med settings. FYI> took off a star for a few reasons: 1) "b" button got stuck ONCE and had an issue getting it out.. i think it was a fluke since it happened only once but had me concerned still. 2) comfort is hit or miss based on preference. i ordered the grips off a chinese website so wont get those for a month+. But i honestly would recommend some sort of grip for it. But it also varies on hand size and user comfort.....so kind of an uncertain factor since it varies per person. 3) they advertise it running cyberpunk 2077....and i havent even tried for the simple fact theres many youtube videos showcasing this. and let me tell you. from your averange consumer, it CAN NOT do this. It can "launch" the game but on the lowest settings you're getting average 18fps. i dont consider this playable. But the manufacturer does. Side note: if youre questioning this vs the ONEXPLAYER, please be advised. There are many variables that come into play when you compare the two. to start, the ONEXPLAYER has approx 4 models now. 2 Intel models and 2 Ryzen models. FRom my personal research, theAya Neo Pro (upgrade to this one) shows the best performance of the total 6 devices (4 onexplayers and 2 aya neo [aya neo 2021 which is this device and the aya neo pro soon to come to market) This is still a fantastic device. but it being $1200 is very very questionable. Their original indiegogo had this fro around $700 which i feel was a steal honestly. i feel this is worth 900 truthfully. hardware is realistically 600-700 but you need to account for the fact you get a windows license, this is a chinese product that was crowdfunded and not masss produced, the power of a low end gaming laptop being SMUSHED into this form factor and having a native controller built in, gaming performance vs battery life compensation, and and the manufacturer does not make any after sales profit. what does this mean? Well steam deck is 400-600. And it "competes" with this. But What most people dont know is the steam deck will sell at a loss AT FIRST. Why at first? Because when you buy the steamdeck, you're inclinded to make purchases off the steam store thus increasing th "after sales profit" for the company of the device. So even though you spend at most 600 on the steam deck, the company will make more money when you buy 1,2,3+ games from their market place. so steam deck 400-600+ 4 AAA titles (approx $60 each totaling $240 for the device) youre looking at technically spending 640-840 on the steam deck and thats not including any potentially needed expandable storage. The aya neo does not make money for the manufacturer when you buy games or do anything with this hardware, Once you bought it from them, thats all the money they make off you. nothing more. this is partially why they charge more, so they dont sell at a loss unlike the steamdeck will. So if youre asking about comparisons, they all have their pros and cons. Definitely a research thing you should do. nothing is prefect. and nothing is 100% better than the other. But i definitely recommend this product., hopefully at a lower price in the near future. 1200 is too much, maybe 800-900 seems appropriate to me. ... show more

  • Great product, horrible seller.
Color: Black
Unfortunate I have to write this review but if I can save one person from wasting money I will. Straight up the product itself is great. The Aya Neo does exactly what it says on the tin, it's an incredibly powerful handheld computer. The reason for my poor review is simply bad support for the seller of this product on Amazon. After discovering that my right joy-stick was completely broken I returned the item but was not issued a full refund. The seller, Zestioe, tried to charge me a restocking fee for a defective product. Absolutely ridiculous and for that reason alone I cannot recommend purchasing this product from Amazon, at least from Zestioe, try find another seller or get it elsewhere.. ... show more
