Mic stands look and feel great. Even bought a second pair. The only thing I'm disappointing on is the false advertising. On the pictures show you can clearly see the stand has an adjustment for the angle, the boom length and a third knob for telescoping. Although these stands will still work for me I was really hoping these offere telescoping capabilities. At first seemed like nice construction. Perfect height for drum and amplifier micing applications. Sadly, we struggled to get the joints to hold firm when using a medium sized ribbon mic.
