I got this because my GigBar Flex since I had no way to control it. I would have used a DMX controller if possible, and I recommend you do so. About half the time, the buttons don't work. Either because they're squishy and cheap or because you have to point the remote directly at the IR sensor in order for it to work. The instructions on the Chauvet website are also a complete joke. You can usually figure out the basic controls like enabling auto mode, sound active, changing colors, etc. Everything else takes a lot of troubleshooting and a lot of the buttons just won't do anything with certain fixtures. Only buy this remote as a last resort, otherwise, control with DMX. ... show more

The remote only works 1/2 the time. You have to be w/in 10 ft to work. You would think with how good remotes are these days it would be much better. I really wanted and needed it to work.
