Very heavy/sturdy. No worries with bending or sagging. Definitely an improvement on a mic stand draped across your keyboards. A little awkward to attach - especially if you break down the keyboard stand very often. Because it's designed for a stand with two keyboard racks, it would be better if it was another 4 inches longer. I end up leaning in when I play the lower keyboard. ... show more

This addition suits AX-48 Pro quite well and is very convenient if you plan to use mic while playing on keys. It doesn't take more than 10 minutes to set it up on top of AX-48 Pro stand, it doesn't spoil look of the stand itself and match it perfectly. The only thing you should note is that Boom requires some free space behind the stand. I think, it's about 0,5 m to control the mic position comfortably. Position of mic remains the same for a long time if you fixed it strong enough. You can also leave it loose to adjust it while playing. ... show more

It would be a pretty sweet mic stand, BUT it does not work at all with the older Ultimate Support stand model. In fact, I could not find any info about the older stand on Ultimate Support's website either, and therefore had to attach it with screws and epoxy... I think it will hold, but still, not specified for newer version only- tbh I didn't even know there was a new/old version of the keyboard stand anyways. ... show more
