I have used this solidly for almost 2 years. Never had a problem with anything. All screws have stayed tight. The mic cord clip has even lasted this whole time. Usually those snap after a few months. This thing has been left in the rain multiple times with no rust. It has been dropped. Drug behind the car for a brief moment when my hatch failed to close and it fell out (long story) Does not blow over on uneven ground. Everything about this stand feels 3/4. The weight is less, the diameter of the tubes is less, the height is less. Great for stationary home use, but the feet are smaller so it will fall over with the first bump - so keep that in mind as you mount your expensive microphone. Now, I do like it and it works well for me in my small space home studio, but I would never use this on stage - it is simply not substantial nor as sturdy as pro stands. ... show more

I wanted a phone stand to create craft progress video.... this thing is ideal.I needed height for some pics and this gives me that. I was looking at phone stands and they're way more expensive and not as good as this. I know this is a mic stand, but it comes with the phone attachment

These mic stands or good for the money. They are just too light/flimsy to hod a microphone at a distance. I use small sand bags on the legs to keep things stable. They function but need some help.

These stands are a total disappointment. We bought the four pack of these microphone stands for use by our band. We've only used them for two gigs and have already ordered four more expensive stands to replace these. They're way too light to support many microphones and fall over much too easily. We even had a stand fall over and damage a band member's instrument. During the gig today, my microphone holder just started to tip over and I had to stop and tighten the screw in the mike bracket and one other stand has already had a set screw strip out and, because of the fragile nature of these stands, we've been very careful not to over tighten the set screws. Unfortunately, it's too late for us to return these stands so we'll be putting them in the trash where they belong. ... show more
