I used this steam pot in my Hot Yoga Dome and it really helps raise the temperature as well as keeping it nicely humid inside. I have no use for the various temperature settings, I start it out at 9 then lower to 1 once my dome has at least 50% humidity then I set it at 1 and leave it. At these settings the steam pot uses about 1/2 gallong for approximately 90 minutes. Very simple to operate. I've used it multiple times with no issues, it heats quickly and puts off a lot of steam. I took off one star because I can't set the timer any longer than 60 minutes which is a little annoying but other than that no complaints. ... show more

This product was very easy to assemble and so far has worked well. I did not rate the remote control cause I have not used it yet.

    • Pretty good over all but not excellent
Price is great, I like the fact it has a solid water tub (no seal to leak at the bottom). Levels p1 thru p8 are worthless so you have to push a lot of buttons to get to p9 every time. There is a timer that defaults to 10 min so you have to push it a bunch of time for pre-heat time plus amount of time you want to be in. Remote is worthless you have to practically touch the box to get it to register. All those annoying things are just that annoying so if it seems to hold up for at least a year I will upgrade the number of stars. More to come. ... show more

On the positive side, it dumps a lot of moisture in the room. I have an at-home yoga dome and two humidifiers couldn't do what this little contraption does. On the negative side, it leaves copper/rust-colored water at the bottom each and every time I use it. I hoped it may go away after a bit, but it did not. I haven't put any essential oils because I am afraid of the interaction/reaction. ... show more
