We assembled it with a level, but after using it for a few weeks it fell! Thankfully I wasn’t upside down or home alone, because it could have ended SO much worse than a bruise. We assembled it again and determined the unstable point to be the connection between the bottom and upper pole. Really complicated to build. you just need to find the right video to watch on Youtube because the directions don’t help. People were saying it wasn’t actually 12ft but the extensions make it longer like maybe 14ft. my ceilings are 12ft and it’s a litttlleee unsturdy but I think it’s because it’s so tall. overall pretty good. ... show more

This pole is not 12 feet like it clearly says in the description! That was very upsetting the whole reason I bought this one was because I have 12 foot ceilings! It is however very sturdy but it’s hard to install because the instructions aren’t very good. If you don’t need it for high ceilings I would recommend buying it just because it’s very sturdy. ... show more
