Then, drill holes with the appropriate size drill bit and insert anchors if needed.

For the price i expected to not receive a pole that someone had already used that was oily and had a hair on it. Just leaving this as a warning to check your items before installing anything. I gave 3 stars because it seemed like a pretty straightforward setup and wish it would’ve worked out

Product says 9 ft. Completed pole height is 101" total. Our Ceiling height = 105" (not even 9ft/108"). Nice pole (special colors) for 169$. Kinda sucks that so many extension joints are necessary, but most joints are below the knee, makes them less conspicuous. Amazon Return.
