The couch is super cute, was easy to assemble, and is more comfortable than I expected. However, this isn't a great couch to purchase if you have pets, my roommate's cat shredded the arms and sides of the couch within a few short weeks. For this purpose, I don't think the couch is necessarily worth the value they're asking. I read in one of the reviews that it was good for pets and wouldn't damage easily but I would have to disagree. ... show more

I bought this for my cigar room not really expecting a ton from it. I planned on using it as supplemental seating but it has rapidly become my favorite place to sit. The thing is super sturdy, I am 6'3" and built like a refrigerator (probably because of a refrigerator) and this thing feels more solid than my living rook set which costs several times as much. I am very happy with the black Chesterfield. It looks amazing, as good as the advertising pictures. The material is supple and feels and looks like real leather. There is plenty of cushioning, you don't feel structure, but it is firm. It is still comfortable enough for me to watch sports all day and even took a nap. I'm 5-11 and could fully stretch out with a pillow behind my head. The assembly is easy and did it myself. It feels solid. The seller was responsive to questions about delivery. It arrived in a box about 6' tall. A bit heavy for one person to lift. But you can open it and carry the 6 or so components separately with ease. Highly recommend. ... show more
