Clearly too light to be the real thing when you hold it in your hand, but no one is going to be able to tell with it just sitting there. It fits well. It's shockingly pricey at $25, but it bugged me that the one tester bottle was sitting on the shelf with no top. It's still probably cheaper to get a tester from discounters and pop this top on it than buy the legit bottle. If it were $10 it would be easier to stomach. I originally got it for a tester of Absolu Aventus I had found online. I had a legit bottle of standard Aventus with the real Creed much heavier all-black top. I ended up swapping that over to the Absolu tester and put this foil imitation on the standard Aventus since it visually looked nicer that way, matched the standard Aventus shiny silver foil nameplate better between the two. ... show more

This is not an authentic cap, but it does fit perfectly. I will take the blame, as the seller does not claim authenticity in the description. My first ever niche fragrance purchase was a tester bottle of Aventus. Little did I know that this would trigger a fragrance addiction. It always bothered me that I did not have a cap, so I decided to look for something used. Although it's not authentic, it still mostly serves its purpose. It does fit perfectly and from a distance, looks like the real deal. I've Included a photo of the purchased cap next to an authentic cap from my bottle of Creed Silver Mountain Water.
