Just got this net. Arrived with everything as illustrated. Appears to be strong, light weight, and is well made. Good price compared to other landing nets of this size and shape. I especially like the wide frame opening. The bag is deep enough to land an adequate sized fish. I’m sure it will serve me well. One serious recommendation I have concerns the single braided strand of nylon cord used to secure the net to its frame. There are two holes in the frame to secure the bag. The manufacturer should have used double cording. I added a second row of cord which, to me, is worth the reduced risk of losing a nice fish due to net failure. I recommend this be done if a buyer of this net sees only one cord. The manufacturer should have double-corded the net. This is my reason for my four-star review. ... show more

This net is slightly bigger then the "Standard" trout net which is good for larger fish. Overall I am very happy with the net. I recently netted 15 trout all 3-5 pounds. It had no problem and could probably handle fish even bigger.

Love this net. The magnets are nice and strong, the netting doesn’t catch hooks, it’s light weight enough that you forget you’re wearing it, the tether makes it nearly impossible to leave behind, and it’s cheap enough that if you do manage to lose it it’s not the end of the world. Paying for a more expensive net would simply be a waste of money ... show more

A surprise great purchase.. Super well made, a great scooping basket to haul in the big one. Floats too. Just well made, easy to attach or detach and carry mid stream. shopped a lot but this is a good net. Looks almost indestructible.......
