I've been sleeping on this mattress for a while now, and I'm really happy with it. It arrived in a compact box and was packaged very well. Once I opened it, it expanded as expected, and I didn't notice any issues with the setup. The mattress is very comfortable and has a nice balance of softness and support. I usually wake up without feeling stiff, and I've noticed my back feels better in the morning than it did with my old mattress. It doesn't feel too firm or too soft, which is exactly what I was looking for. For the price, I think this mattress is an excellent value. If you're looking for a comfortable hybrid mattress that is easy to set up and sleeps well, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try. ... show more

This mattress is extremely comfortable. Going on two weeks, it has exceeded my expectations of a bed in a box and I highly recommend the 12” to anyone wanting a soft and giving yet supportive mattress that you won’t sink into and that doesn’t feel like a board. I did let it rest for two days after opening before using it, and while I kinda wish there was a little more edge support - I don’t have much need to sit on the edge of my bed. The instructions say to rotate it every 3 months, so, not much different from any other mattress in that regard. Comfortable bed. Medium, not too hard or soft. You have to let it rise for 72 hours after receipt and unpacking which was a pain but it expanded well. It looks like a luxury mattress and offers good support for both my husband and me. I took off one star because the edges do not seem to be add firm as my last mattress making sitting on the edge not as comfortable and I wonder how long it will hold up but hopefully it lasts a few years. ... show more

I bought this mattress and wow I loved it, after sleeping several nights in it I knew that this was the right one. It is very comfortable, provides great support for the back and at the same time feels soft, so you really rest. I liked that you can hardly feel the movements when the other person moves during the night, and it also feels very cool, which makes sleeping more pleasant. The quality of the materials is noticeable from the first day, and it arrived well packaged, recovering its shape quickly. My wife and I have been really happy with this Avenco king mattress. We are coming from a Lucid mattress, and honestly, this feels comparable if not better in overall quality. The biggest difference is that this one has actual springs in the hybrid design, so it feels like it should hold up better long-term instead of slowly breaking down like some all-foam mattresses can. The support level is right where we wanted it. I’m a bigger guy at 6’5” and around 235 lbs, and it gives me enough support without feeling too firm or uncomfortable. My wife is around 170 lbs and primarily sleeps on her side, and she has also found it comfortable without feeling like it creates pressure points. I sleep on my side about 20% of the time and still feel supported, but it also works well when I’m on my back. Setup was easy, it expanded quickly, and there was little to no noticeable smell after unboxing. Motion isolation has been good for us too, so movement on one side does not disturb the other much. Overall, this feels like a very solid mattress for the price: supportive, comfortable, cool enough, and better built than I expected. Five stars from us. ... show more

It is a nice budget mattress, but definitely not a Twin XL. It’s shorter than a standard XL, like 3in shorter. I still like the material quality and confort.
