I really didn’t want to like this dry shampoo as much as I do, but I can’t go back to the dry shampoos I had previously been purchasing. This has the classic Aveda smell, of course, but is much more effective while using a smaller amount of product than others. Sold!

Has the wonderful classical Aveda scent. It is hard to navigate how to get the product out. Direction's say shake then squeeze. If you squeeze too hard a large lump sum comes out, to light nothing. Definitely take trail and error. Now I have it down. The products makes your hair fresh for two days. Maybe longer? But I was now after every 3 rd day. ... show more

This is hands down the best dry shampoo. Wonderful Aveda scent. Does not make hair feel weird like most dry shampoos. Very lightweight. Refreshes oily hair. I also use after wash and blow dry. It gives hair texture.

    • The best stuff! with a scent I wish Aveda would make a body/room spray
This is the only dry shampoo I always go back to because it smells SO amazing! It’s fresh, but very slightly sweet- I can’t explain it well, but it’s magical and I wish they would make a perfume or other sprays with the same scent. The bottle is sometimes a little tricky and hard to spray the powder out, but it’s worth it, in my opinion. It’s pretty pricey too for how much you get, although I recently found that that applying it and then using a firm makeup brush type thing to blend it in makes it last longer. This and the original Moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner are my vices lol, because once you have the best, it’s hard to get anything else. ... show more

I buy this dry shampoo from my salon on a regular basis but didn't have time to go by this month so I ordered online. The bottle looks exactly the same as my other Aveda dry shampoo but the smell is different and the quality isn't quite as good. The powder sticks to my scalp and makes it look white and is chalky in my hair. It might just be a very old bottle, but if you're picky about your dry shampoo like I am, to be safe I'd buy this at the salon. ... show more

My daughter and I have tried several dry shampoos, but this is by far the best. No aerosol to hurt the environment or your lungs. This is best used before bed to eliminate oily hair happening at night. The product smells great too!
