I have purchased the product along with the conditioner on several occasions directly from Aveeda. However, the price on Amazon was too good to pass up. Well, the first use made my hair extremely dry and brittle, but the worse thing was the scalp itch from the dryness. I am going to be returning unfortunately and going back to paying double on Aveeda.com. Very disappointing. I have heard from other amazon members that have bought name brand products and found them not to work the same as the "original" products they purchased prior. I guess just be aware that they are not a guaranteed product and may not be from the real company. ... show more
