This type of gear always seems more expensive than it needs to be. But, it's probably more cost effective than a DIY effort. Had some concerns about its ability to articulate sufficiently to keep my Helix 7 out of the way while pedaling my Sportsman 120 PDL. No issues there. Easy to install into the factory gear track and has enough adjustment flexibility to keep it out of the way and easily visible. The lever to release the mounting ball has been finicky and I'm worried that it might break unless it becomes easier to release with added use. ... show more

Looks well built but did not get to use it. Unfortunately it was too small for the 9” Garmin chartplotter with the quick release bail mount. Exchanged it for the XL mount and works perfect for my screen. Using it in my kayak and the t-bolt works flawlessly in my trak system on the kayak.

This item came fully assembled. The predrilled holes aligned perfectly with the mounting holes on the Humminbird Helix 5, and the installation was straightforward. This mount performed flawlessly on my Native kayak. I was able to align the screen to a comfortable position due to the double-articulated arms, which allowed for fine-tuning.
