For those of you haven't used these before, they are awesome. They also include the bolt underneath which I wasn't sure of being new to the products. It also fits the Mightymount XL track. I bought the square design because I intend to upgrade my finder soon. Currently using the piranhamax 4 with a round base. This will only allow 2 holes on the left or right to screw in. In addition the base will not be centered to the mount for this particular finder. May mess with your OCD. Although since everything fits together solid with only the 2 screws, It support my needs just fine. ... show more

This worked out great for my fishfinder for my kayak. I bought several other universals and trust me.. they are anything but universal.. This one fits my unit perfectly and I like that I can easily put it up and put it back down.

The mount is very functional. Unfortunately the mount is also very wobbly at the base. I find that I have to hold the head of the fish finder sometimes when I'm pressing the buttons.

This item came fully assembled. The predrilled holes aligned perfectly with the mounting holes on the Humminbird Helix 5, and the installation was straightforward. This mount performed flawlessly on my Native kayak. I was able to align the screen to a comfortable position due to the double-articulated arms, which allowed for fine-tuning. Alright so I got annoyed with mounting this to my dash for my Nu canoe flint so I bought this a couple days ago. It has made a huge difference for me while fishing since I had read the fish finder while standing up. Awesome product and I don’t understand why I didn’t get it earlier.

    • Decent but missing hardware
The installation was extremely easy even without directions but I was missing the second screw and nut that hold the fish finder onto the arm. With that being said, I just removed the arm completely and attached the fish finder to the base itself. As others have said, it’s a bit wobbly where the quick attach is and even being mounted to the base it seems slightly crooked like it’s leaning due to the loose connection. It’s simple and gets the job done which is why I gave it 3 stars but it’s not really what I would normally expect from Yak Attack. The trend of missing parts, assuming people aren’t referring to the trac, makes me wonder if some of these are returns that weren’t thoroughly checked before resale. ... show more
