I've been using this product since the early 2000's. Just a small amount can give you the texture you need in very straight and thin hair without weighing it down. The scent is light and it lasts the whole day without being sticky and stiff. I love it!

This is great for my pixie! I have baby fine hair and this doesn’t make my hair feel greasy. It shows off my texture without weighing down my hair. My stylist uses this, unfortunately, was out of stock. Glad i found it on Amazon!

My hair is short and dry! When I blow dry my hair....well it goes wild! My hair stylist showed me the benefits of this product but I work out at work so I needed one for blow doing my hair at work so it isn't wild! This works perfectly! It holds my hair style all day. It's easy to use with one caveat- only use a finger tip worth for the entirety of your hair. It is easy to use too much and that will make your hair weighed down & appear greasy! So even though this little bottle cost so much, it will provide a long supply! One container I purchased a year ago still has half left! Great value! ... show more

I’m an Aveda lover with that being said, my 2 year old son has 2 colic’s and this works AMAZING to keeping them down without it making his hair hard and stick. It holds it down just enough and does last! It has an AMAZING smell as well!

    • Versatile, unisex hair product; great for flyaways
My husband has used this for years to control his short but naturally wavy (and somewhat unmanageable) hair. He likes the scent, which isn't overpowering. It isn't too greasy and doesn't give the hair stiffness; just control and definition. Recently, I discovered that it works very well for smoothing down flyaways for a sleek updo or ponytail. I also like it on those little hairs around my hairline that curl up on really humid days. It lasts all day, even in wind or high humidity, and keeps hair very soft (unlike hairspray, which feels crunchy in my hair). I even got rained on, and after my hair dried it was still smooth where I had applied the product. It's too greasy for me, with my fine hair, to use as an all-over product. His coarse hair holds up to it, but mine gets really greasy if I use more than the tiniest bit. I don't like the scent, personally, but for me that's true of all Aveda products.
