First image is this product - plastic threads. Second image is from an old set that I purchased for the same vehicle 5 years ago (2018 Jeep Renegade Sport w/TigerShark 2.4L) - metal threads. The old set were a different brand, but I figured the same product, and I had good luck with those. They were damaged and I was replacing them. I'm glad I kept my old set, because I had to take apart my old ones and use the lower clamps from my old set with this new set. Two of the 4 lower clamps on this new set had plastic threads and I didn't notice until the first one stripped immediately. I don't have time to return these - I need them for this weekend so I salvaged from the previous set - again, different vendor/brand this time vs 5 years ago, but essentially same products so I was able to mix and match.
