So this is a good light so far. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 is because of the installation process. Now not all JL's have the plastic cover behind the fog lights bit mine does. So if your is like mine, I had a heck of a time getting that off and it didn't go back on properly (not the products fault but mine). Now once you remove the stock bulb you will notice one bump on one side and two bumps on the other, it matters. The bumps that stick off the side line up with groves in the light...hole... I notice myself pushing the new light in with a lot of force and never heard a "click" and when I let go, it would fall out. I had to press on the sides ( the release buttons) press the bulb in, the release the buttons while still pushing the light in, then letting go of the light. They are finally in and feel snug for now. I'll update after going over a few bumps and see if they stay put. 5/1/23 ... show more

I installed these lights in my girlfriends Jeep Compass and they are nice & bright. They were a little tricky to get in but I would strongly recommend getting them!
