This is a must have when you upgrade your Harbor Freight style manual tire changer with a duck bill!! I had a hard time without, things would go off-center and it's just a struggle from there, you only have so many hands. I just received this cone 10 minutes ago so I haven't tried it yet, looks like I have to grind down the sloppy weld on the post for it to slide over (see pictures). Measurements seem to be as described, fits great in my Nissan Sentra wheels. Appears well made, looks like it was painted silver, can't say what grade aluminum it is or if it was indeed milled but it seems like it'll do its job. I'll update this review if I encounter any problems during use. If you've already spent the money on a manual tire changer and done the upgrades, I definitely recommend this, what's another $40 something if it makes things easier. Hope this helps.

The cone is expensive, but that is not the fault of manufacturer. The fault is the high cost of aluminum. The cone is machined properly and fit the center hole of my Jeep Rubicon wheels. Cone held the rim snugly enough for me to mount 315/75r16 mud terrain tires. Rim does not budge, money well spent!!
