The media could not be loaded. Purchased bag design of navy and white stripes with camel piping accents. Looks exactly like product photo. Bag is very nice quality. Two ample-sized side pockets. Padded straps, especially like the chest strap - helps keep the bag steadier and level - but it does flatten a couple things for a 5'10" woman. Ahem. Mesh is anti-tear, although one of my cats was able to break a few micro lines, but it doesn't run, and is unnoticeable. Some reviews seem to complain about extension pad size, but I think it fits fine on top of the other when the extension is not in use. The added velcro straps on the inside also keep the folded-up extension from pushing through, helping keep a full space open in the main cabin. My cat is about 14-18 pounds but not very tall, a little under 12 inches in height from floor to ear tip, so the bag's proportions tended to fit him well. He seemed very cozy on the ride home and I think is looking forward to his next outdoor adventure. *Notes on other reviews: 1.) The review with the white dogs is misleading - their owner was using it sideways and upside down, plus half of what they said is false about the actual product (#justakaren). 2.) The reviews complaining about clasps - you can see in the product photo what is / is not on the bag - Clasps, are a preference, and there is a strong chest strap with clasp included. Durable steel zippers are attached at every entry/exit point, including with the additional, velcroed, flip up visor on the top of the bag. If you prefer clasps, buy a bag that already has them - don't buy a product that doesn't and then complain about it. 3) The reviews complaining about the 2ndry pad in the expansion side - take it out! Honestly, we learned to play with blocks in what, kindergarten? Take the expansion pad out, rotate it to fit on top of the other in the main cabin. The interior velcro straps can still reach, and keep the expansion pressed flat to maximize the interior cabin space. So glad I purchased this and didn't let a few bad apples stop me! The product reviews definitely don't do this bag justice. I would absolutely recommend this product if you're searching for a classy, durable, comfortable cat backpack at an unbeatable price. It's perfect if you're traveling with a pet! I got the xl for my chomky kitty. It folds out nicely. Though the one down side is it stinks when you first get it because of mfg materials but you can wash it pretty easily by hand and let it dry. This would be good for cats and small dogs if you are traveling with them and wanna keep them close. It's a good quality product imo, you'll need to use the chest strap buckle if your pet is heavier than 5ish pounds, but that's expected because that's how backpacks normally work. ... show more

Overall for the price compared to similar items it is good at it's intended purpose. Also compared to another backpack pet carrier I tried, this one does not hurt or have any structure that digs into my lower back. Improvements: Better structure-the sides and top easily collapsed with any force; I had to spent some time repositioning the edges to get a more solid structure and for the zippers to close; there is still some corners where I need to wiggle the zipper to close or open. The bottom base of the backpack is sturdy and has a nice fabric covering, but some more padding would be nice with a removable/washable cover. There were some stray threads upon opening and the top zipper mesh window was broken, but easily fixed by opening and closing from where the zipper was, but questionable quality. The one roll up window on top could have better placement of the velcro so you can do a tight roll and have the full view of the top. Except for the base zipper, none of the other zippers have any locking mechanisms. There could be more padding in the shoulder straps and a waist strap could give some more support. Strange the front wheel on the base is removable and the others are attached directly to the based. The front wheel is also slightly smaller than the others, in that it does not touch the floor with the other wheels when on an even ground. Seller stated "The front wheels are mainly for support to prevent the pet bag from skewing. If the wheels are the same length, it will not be smooth when pulled." When I used it I had to wheel the bag sideways, the front window facing outwardly perpendicular to the direction I was facing, as that is how it wanted to go naturally, which made it uncomfortable to move w/ the handle. It would be nice to have an option of the expandable backpack paired with the removable wheeled base. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Compact storage, backpack only attached by a click, wheels look very sturdy although it will no hold the weight of the dog straight up. So if you let handle go it will lean forward. For reference I uploaded 2 of the dogs I plan to used both are close the same weight but different sizes. The one inside the bag fits ok, the other fits tight but he sits taller. It would take him a bit to adjust. If we are real any bag will be comfortable or seems comfortable for the owners but I think this bag can work. For sure maybe a dog under 10lb and small body will be very comfortable. Zippers came a bit twisted but nothing complicated. As far of value for the money Id say that it can come down a bit. ... show more
