I read reviews that the pads squeak, but decided to try them anyway with the rotors. Figured I might get lucky and have no squeaking. After almost 600 miles they still squeak. I attempted bedding them after I installed them and it didn’t do anything. I even tried slamming the brakes at 70mph until ABS engaged.. didn’t work(yes I know you shouldn’t do this to bed brakes. I did it out of frustration after hitting roughly 500 miles after replacement and the pads were still squeaking haha) Not a big deal because it’s still worth it for the rotors. For my 05 Silverado 1500, retail stores want about $100 per rotor. These are even a bit cheaper than what rockauto had for my vehicle(in the cheapest option). Do yourself a favor and buy some different pads and throw the included ones in the trash! Haha I give this bundle 5/5 even tho the pads are no good because of the price. The media could not be loaded. I ordered these a while back but live in New England. So I installed them this spring. Since install these have done nothing but have a high pitched squeak. Super loud super annoying I figured okay break in period. Well I'm well past that period and still no squeak. Took to a mechanic friend of mine who confirmed they rotors are warped and pads are cheaply made junk. Not happy. Reached out to seller for refund. Seller refused refund and warranty.
