Prefect fit 2009 Honda Civic EX coupe. These headlights instead of the ageing factory ones and the paint job I just had done has my car literally looking new. Installation does involve removing the bumper, watch a YouTube video before you buy and make sure you feel comfortable. For a "change my oil, do my own brakes guy" wasn't as big a deal as I expected. Everything lined up exactly like the factory ones with these -seem to be well engineered. Light bulbs fit nice and snug like they should, like they did in the factory ones. Found that using a car panel removal tool (has two prongs to pry the plastic body buttons) to be invaluable on this job, it really helped. Since bulbs are fairly hard to change in these cars, I went ahead and installed new bulbs while I had the unit out and so accessible - including LED for the main lights. Hope it lasts, but light output and look is top notch. I kinda wanted halo projector lenses, but so many people had issues with melting wires and such I figured I would stick with these -glad I did. ... show more

SCARED! Yep I was scared to do this. Success though... it worked! I have a 2011 Civic coupe. Just barely enough ground-clearance - I was able to do this without ramps (thankful to not have to spend the extra $). I needed some extra patience jiggling the hold housing out and then jiggling the new back in place....patience and persistence worked. While swapping the housing I swapped in new LED bulbs (Amaz... SEALIGHT 9005/HB3 High Beam 9006/HB4 Low Beam LED Headlight Bulbs Combo Package CSP Chips 14000LM 6000K Cool White / approx $58 for all 4 after coupon).. At a few different steps I turned the lamps on to test (reminder to me and all like me, don't wait until you button everything up to find out something is not working). I hope these housings last, stay clear, 8+ years **Disclaimer** I am NOT a mechanic, and I'm not the brightest bulb in the box.... YOU can do this :-) One last thing.. I didn't have the long extension, but my two shorter ones together just barely made it to that lower bolt next to the radiator. Watch and study 2 or 3 youtube videos.! END RESULT SEEMS GREAT SO FAR ... show more

REVISED - downgraded due to inability to adjust and inability to contact seller. Processing for refund via Amazon Customer support [which was stellar in handling my return / refund] Installation was as advertised, direct replacement to the OEM. After install, headlights require beam alignment. After multiple attempts, I am unable to adjust the headlight aim. Only way to drive at night is to use high beams and that is NOT optimal. As this is a direct sale by autosavers88, and not an Amazon stocked item, i have to work support out with Autosavers88. Amazon’s only option is to return for refund. I broke my own rule here by purchasing auto parts online. Makes it infinitely more difficult to resolve issues such as adjusters not working. Had high hopes but comes up just short overall. ... show more

I bought these headlight assemblies for my 2006 Honda Civic on Oct 15, 2019. I did not install them immediately. That was a mistake. I finally installed the assemblies in May 2020. I got everything buttoned up and while the lights worked, they would not shine down the road. I assumed that I had done something wrong. I took the car to my local mechanic and he informed me that both light assemblies were defective, I was way past the point where I could return the items. I had my mechanic replace both headlight assemblies with OEM parts. They work correctly now. This little $140.00 job ended up costing me $714.00 charged by my mechanic for the product and installation plus $140.00 that I paid for the headlight assemblies in the first place. (a total of $854.00) This is NOT counting my time and wasted energy. I am posting this so that Amazon will know that they are selling defective parts. For those of you considring this product... I purchased two sets of these for a 2006 Civic si and a 2007 Civic EX coupe. Three of the lights worked great, but with one of them the bulb could not be secured. When I inspected it up a couple plastic fragments fell out. These were raised sections that help secure the bulb. Now I could understand them cracking if I forced the bulb in but I was really careful. See the photo where I removed the plastic retaining ring. The metal pointer is near where the plastic cracked off. Fortunately, I was able to salvage the light by building up several layers of UV-cure epoxy until the light could be secured. Headlights came packaged well with custom styrofoam packing and protective sheets over the lens. Bulb sockets were also covered to keep foreign objects out. Headlights came with the rubber grommet bulb surrounds installed. Total install time took less than 90 minutes start to finish. Product arrived very fast and was well packaged. As seen in the pictures each headlight was held securely by styrofoam blocks and had protective film to prevent scratches. Another upside is that these come with new grommets on the rear that surround the bulb. A lot of headlights I’ve seen make you reuse the old grommets. Install was a breeze and fitment is spot on. Mine have a slight gap below the headlights due to missing the metal bumper support brackets. As for the bang for your buck value, I went low due to the fact that coupe headlights are all listed $20-$30 more than sedan headlights. ... show more

My 2006 Honda Civic needed new headlights desperately. Night vision was very poor. ( Had previously “polished” them to clarity..but no longer effective.These were the original factory installed lights). The quote given by Honda for replacement was outrageous. Then I thought of Amazon. Found these online and brought it to local small auto repair place. Alleluia- they said these were compatible and would install.
