Received this ipair in April, had them installed in May, and one stopped working in August... Now we're trying a different brand to see if they last longer... I'll give a review on that brand after they get used for awhile, maybe December.. as long as they last longer than 4 months I'll be happy... We have to have them installed because I am incapable after an aneurysm... So I may be a bit bitter because of th $charge to put in a lightbulb now, but I do believe led lights should last longer... On a more positive note they come well boxed with white gloves included and the guys who installed the lights were able to put my existing halogen bulbs in the Styrofoam inside the box for later when he did the job so that is a big plus ... show more

2009 BMW 328i almost perfect. Nice color and night light output BUT it did mess with the radio interference occasionally and kept messing with my TPM system, once I took them out no issues. It’s a shame I really like the minimum footprint and light output.

Pictures show LED pattern, Halogen pattern, LED Measured, Halogen Measured. I bought the LEDs because the SYLVANIA XtraVision Halogen lamps I was using only last 135 hours and they are expensive. I was concerned that the LED might be too bright or may have a bad light pattern and get me pulled over as these are rated for off road only. So I measured the pattern and the brightness before and after installing the LEDs. As you can see in the photos, the pattern is identical, no splashing light too high. The measured level from the LED was actually one count lower than the Halogen, but 54 vs 55 is basically identical performance visually. Installed in 2008 GL 450 the lamp fit so tightly that I could not twist to lock it in place. I had to file it a tiny bit to get the paint off. Then they fit fine. ... show more

Bulbs fit tightly which is something I had an issue with on other brands in the past. I would say the only thing to consider in purchasing is confirming you have about a quarter inch extra back clearance behind the existing bulb. These are a little deeper and if your headlight is in a really compact location then you may have a clearance issue. Generally, these are more compact than others as well.
