This automatic chicken feeder is very helpful. It was very easy to set up. It fits 40 lb of feed and because of that I don’t have to refill it often. The 6-port design allows multiple chickens to eat at the same time, and they don’t spill the feed so much. It feels sturdy and solid. To have lock on the lid helps keep rodents out. I like that is elevated from the ground that way chickens can’t scratch and it keeps it clean.

it has made caring for my chickens so much easier. The large 40 lb capacity is perfect because I don’t have to refill it constantly, especially during busy weeks. The 6-port design allows multiple chickens to eat at the same time without fighting over space. What I really like is the metal construction — it feels sturdy and much more durable than the plastic feeders I used before. The locking lid is a huge plus because it helps keep rodents and wild birds out, while also protecting the feed from moisture. Since switching to this feeder, I’ve noticed far less wasted feed scattered around the coop. The legs also help keep the feeder elevated, which keeps the area cleaner and prevents dirt and bedding from getting mixed into the food. Setup was straightforward, and it fits nicely inside the coop without taking up too much space.

I needed a feeder that didn't cause the waste of standard trough-style feeders you fill from the top. So much ends up on the floor. I saw this one and liked the different access and the lid, so I gave it a try. It comes disassembled, but just needs to be assembled with screws. All the parts were there, and they fit well. Also came with a screwdriver. Very straightforward forward, but I like assembling Ikea furniture, so take it for what it's worth. Sturdy product that will get used inside, so the other comments about water infiltration don't matter to me. I like that it has latches to keep the lid on. This allows it to be picked up by the top handle. It can also be carried by the side handles. It will take your chickens some time to get used to it. I put it in the outside run so I could watch. Once I saw them using it, I moved it inside. Easy to handle, though it could be pretty heavy if it's full. Happy with the construction and the product overall. I would recommend this product. I doubt we will need another one since we have a small flock, but I would buy again if I needed more.

This product is a failure. "Prevents, rain, ice or snow from soaking food." False. And I've flagged them for deceptive advertising. For almost $140 I fully expect their flagship feeder. This is not a cheap priced feeder! This product is not defective or damaged. It's just like this by design. Do better. 1. This thing arrives in dozens of pieces. You will spend at least 30-45 minutes assembling. 2. There is no silicone sealing at any of the joints nor the screw holes. Water does, in fact, get in after a light rain (see video), rendering the food useless and moldy (chick feed is expensive). 3. The stand (also comes in 16 pieces) also holds water on the horizontal surfaces, so even the screws at the bottom of the feeder seep in water (see pictures). 4. For the money, you can get a 6 port, 85lb feeder FOR LESS, that actually does not let water in through the seems and screw holes (which I found after returning this travesty). 5. It began rusting where the water was getting inside (see pictures). If this thing is going INSIDE a covered coop where no water gets inside at all - you might be ok. This absolutely will not work out in the rain or anywhere it could get wet. I was lucky enough to be able to return it inside the return window. Please don't waste your time on this. Rent a coop didn't have the one I usually buy available, so I took a chance on this thing.

What a great concept! We’re just starting out with chickens and this made it easy. It keeps the feed clean, dry, and most importantly protected from pests. The build feels sturdy, durable, and it looks great. It holds adequate amount of feed for our chickens. Such a convenient and time-saving addition to our coop.

Great idea but falls short in that the feeder does not attach to the stand - it sits on top and the resting space is not large enough that unless it’s perfectly level it will bump off the stand risking it falling off completely. Also the video shows that the feeder port inserts were left in - they serve no purpose and have to be removed if the feeder port inserts is to be accessible.
