The first door I received did not work at all. It would raise approximately 3" then stop. After multiple back and forth conversations, i finally had enough and told them I was sending it back for a full refund and going with a different brand. A management employee then contacted me apologizing profusely and asked to send a video directly to their support email. The next day they asked for my address and shipped a new one directly to me and told me to just keep the defective one. The second door works much better. I have yet to install on the coop, and with how the first one operated I'm skeptical that it will last. Time will tell. Seems to be fairly sturdy as it is all aluminum. I'm not a fan of the slots in the door as that seems like it could get pretty drafty. May have to modify my broken one to see if I can fix that issue. So far I'm happy to give the door another shot. It shouldn't have taken me threatening to send it back and going somewhere else to get them to help me out. ... show more

Origanlly the button came off they sent another one right away. Kind of pricy for what you get but I framed it to my door and so far it has worked with no issues I did not use the app I let it go by light

Edit: One day later and my new door was delivered. This unit works perfectly! This will be soooo helpful as we leave for work when it’s pitch back out, but my hens still need out. Thank you customer service for standing behind your product!! Edit: within 24 hours customer service responded to my email and are sending a replacement unit. They were very responsive and helpful! Will update my review once the new unit is here. Installed today and the unit has no power. Using brand new batteries, but nothing. Emailed and hopefully a replacement will be sent out. Very disappointed. We really need this for our coop asap. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This chicken door gets stuck half way up or going down sometimes not always I have tried making the screw loose still gets stuck Edit the sellers have reached out to me and have shipped me a new one I haven’t put the new one in yet to make sure it’s better than the first one will edit when I put it in great sellers to work with ... show more

    • Not a great product
It worked great…until the install. I followed the instructions to the T and made sure not to over tighten the screws. It barely opens or closes all the way and the plastic gear constantly slips. Would not purchase again and currently looking for other options.
