I installed this and used it for a month before writing this to help be as informative as possible regarding the reliability and functions. Let's just say it works better than expected. This is a must have for towing a trailer or driving a large vehicle with blind spots. I ordered this specifically because it was from auto-vox. I've purchased from them before and everything has always been well made and very high quality. This wireless setup is no exception. Installation was very simple and straightforward. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. With basic mechanical and electrical inclination anyone can install this setup in just a couple of hours. The left and right cameras are conveniently labeled to help prevent placing them on the opposite sides. I thought i put them on backwards because the view from sides were initially upside-down. But after some trouble shooting i realized you can change the viewing rotation with the menu options of the monitor. The wireless monitor has a wide range of options to dial in your personal preferences for recording, camera viewing, and picture quality. I put these on my work truck topper to help my overall visibility when driving especially a night. The topper makes it impossible to see behind me without some sort of camera and this works better than I would have hoped. The cameras are designed to be powered by splicing into the parking light or daytime running light wires, but you could potentially wire them to another preferred power source or independent switch. They have a wide range of adjustment for getting the best view of your surroundings. I do suggest testing the view from each camera before screwing it into place for its permanent intended location. I chose the the parking light wire as it was the simplest option for my application and works exactly as it should. The wireless monitor comes with a 12v cigarette lighter style power cord with a USB port for any reason you might need one. It also comes with a USB only power cord as an additional option. Both power cords have on/off switches to save your battery life when not in use. The monitor itself attaches to a supplied stand that uses a strong adhesive tape to stick to your dash, windshield, or any relatively flat surface. The base of the stand is somewhat flexible to allow for some curvature of the desired attachment location. Once i had everything hooked up and powered on it worked immediately. There was no pairing or device management needed, just turn on and go. The video quality is very good for a wireless setup and I'm able to clearly make out objects or vehicles that happen to be in my blind spots. I'm also able to use the monitors menu to view the camera's feeds in any combination of one, two, or all three cameras. I can also rotate the viewing angle of each camera on the monitor in 90⁰ increments. The recording option is another great feature to have in the event of a collision or just to review in general. In the month that I've used this for nearly every day I have not once had any sort of issue. The settings I've input have stayed as I've left them. The cameras have performed consistently and reliably. I have had no outside interference or connectivity issues. Overall this is very high quality camera setup that is easy to use and very reliable. I highly recommend for anyone who needs improved rear visibility when driving.

Solid value for the money, and overall a decent system.

I've used this setup for two trips now, and am generally satisfied. The movement on the screen when traveling at highway speeds is a little laggy, but tolerable. In general, the screen is bright enough for all light conditions and the wireless signal locks right in as soon as you power up all the components. The image when looking at only one of the three cameras is clear, undistorted, and useful. Trying to view all three, however, is significantly less so as the aspect ratio is botched up and you really can't see what's happening on any of the cameras. If you plan to use the side cameras to help you change lanes you might not like the result. However, using just the rear view and my mirrors gives me plenty enough information to handle lane changes. Where the side cameras really come in handy is when you're backing into a spot at an angle and your mirrors are useless to see what's happening on your blind side. Selecting that camera as the only one on screen in that situation really helps avoid obstacles when backing up.

Great Camera System

Love this system! Mounting was so easy and setup was so easy. Had the backup camera up and running in just minutes. I attached the wire to an always on wire so that I not only see when backing up but also leave on and use it as a rear view mirror whenever I needed to see behind me when my camper was in my truck bed. The quality of the pictures was so clear and I feel so much safer now that I can see all the way around my truck! The backup camera has parking lines you can adjust or turn off. The signal was stable and stays on when driving. The screen is so much better than the stock camera that is on my rear view mirror. You can mount the cameras where ever you want so it makes it easier to access the wires to power up the cameras. You can see three cameras at once or just choose one camera. I highly recommend this camera if you need to see around a camper truck cover!

Great camera for the price

Works great once you put the taller antennas on the video receiver and the shorter antennas on the side cameras. I use this on my 43 foot toy hauler. I now have a clear view of cars and trucks as they go by or when I over take a slow truck going up hills. This is a fairly easy upgrade that is wired into the two front side running lights on your trailer and an upper rear running light for the rear camera. We have tested it for 3000 miles so far and are happy with it. The screen is a little small but I like the compact size because it doesn’t block the view out the front windshield. Also it is wired into the running lights so no need to charge batteries.

Camera display is opposite for side mounted Cameras. Driver side is on right and passenger side is on left. They should fix this could be dangerous. Had to mark so when driving wouldn't think it was clear because of looking at wrong side on monitor. Tried to switch but Camera display is upside-down now had awhile and now one of the side camera is not working.

Game changer for overall Safety and Peace of Mind

I cannot recommend this three camera system enough! This is our second Auto-Vox purchase and it performed right out of the box. It has enhanced and changed the way I drive. We have a 40' bus so changing lanes is a bit of a challenge, but with the new side cameras you can look, really confirm that there are no cars, than put your flasher on to slowly take your lane. We placed the monitor on the dash in the middle so my wife and I can see what's around us, really love these set up. We did this with our other Auto-Vox camera monitor in our small RV and its definitely the way to go. With this set up, while parked, we leave it on and we can both glance over at the monitor and quickly see our surrounds. The backup camera mounted easily to my prewire and the side cameras were super straightforward to wire in too. We chose to put them on top of the side marker lights, but if you want true plug and play you can remove your sidelight, connect the two wires and done. As usual with this brand NO blur signal and no resolution "flickering". This is why we bought the same brand as last time, its durable and we can trust it while we are on the road.

Could be better

I use this set up for pulling a 40ft travel trailer. I'm not to impressed with it. The good things is the picture is very clear. The bad things is the screen and the connection with camera's will loose signal for a second or two. About every two minutes. Witch is very annoying when your traveling a long distance on the freeway. Second thing is the screen is too small for viewing three camera's at once. So I just use one camera at a time.and the last one is installation, it wasn't bad mounting or wiring the camera's but on the side camera's it has four wires two for the camera and two for the running light it would of been easier if both sets of wires were the same length. Or if all four wires were already tied together from the factory so you only had to wire ground and hot not two hots and two grounds.

Seems to be working fine my only thing would be nicer if the screen was a little bigger it's kind of hard to see all three on one little screen but works great for my backup basically to keep an eye on my truck that I'm pulling behind my RV it's flawless
