I love the flexibility of being able to make a loom whatever size I need for a project instead of needing to find the right size loom for different projects. It's convenient and takes up less storage space than a collection of loom sets would. It was a bit tricky snapping the pieces together and pulling them apart before I figured out the trick, but that makes it sturdy and unlikely to come apart in the middle of a project. The hook that came with the loom fits in the peg grooves well, and the circular tops on the pegs makes it easier to slide the yarn over than on some looms I've used. ... show more

Okay, the part where you snap it together is a bit rough (though that's not difficult) but actually using it? It is a dream. I never have that issue where I am fighting with the loom and my thumbs hurt and you keep whacking things with it - and when I need to store it for the evening or a trip, it folds up! I got it because I wanted to be able to make a custom sized hat for a friend - now I own two because I do not want to go back to my rigid looms. And I am a BIG fan of the rounded pegs. These are surprisingly strong. Love the stitch size and definition. A number 3 weight yarn works up beautifully. See photos. I thought it would be terribly floppy to work with, but actually not too bad. Several pegs can hold their shape in a straight line at a time, so you can make even stitches before straightening a few more pegs for the next section of stitches to be knit. Love the versatility. I can reduce the stitches for a crown of a hat. Or increase pegs for other projects. Important to know- If you want to make an adult hat, you will need 2 sets. ... show more

This is a well designed loom, the only thing I had a problem with is it doesn't say on package what size yarn to use. I bought it for DK weight and it is loose . I tried it with #4 and it is perfect for that. I purchased the next size down and hope it will make better stiches with the DK weight yarn. ... show more

Tried an infinity loom. Did not like it. A fellow crafter had this loom. Came home and ordered it. It came today and I am already knitting. Love the versatility of sizes in this loom. I got a dozen links together before I had to stop. I need this loom because the largest of the circular looms isn't big enough. I'm going to try the suggestion in answer to my question -- to use soap on the links. But the ad and instructions are completely misleading yo call assembly easy. And wouldn't it be easier to differentiate the fixed and the rotating links of they were all tje same color by type? I noticed s typo in the number of pegs for hats. You'll see it right away now I've called your attention to it ... show more

Makes knitting lace bamboo yarn wonderful, especially when you have a project that is on a limited time schedule. You can fold it up and take it with you so easily. No hard loom that is cumbersome and if you need a circle... well it easy to do. One of the best knitting purchases I ever made. Plus, it was a delightful pleasure to deal with the customer service side. I was missing a piece and did not have me jump through hopes quickly fixed.
