I’ve used the Autel TS508WF to diagnose and relearn TPMS sensors after tire changes, and it’s been reliable and easy to work with. The screen is clear, the buttons feel sturdy, and the menus are straightforward once you get familiar with them. It reads sensor data quickly, walks you through relearn procedures, and the Wi-Fi updates are convenient since there’s no need to connect it to a computer. I highly recommend. I did a lot of research before making this purchase. No regrets form me. My brother’s friend has one already and had great feedback about his unit. I was able to use it on my gen 3 Tacoma on a second set of tires and able to do a full five tire rotation and able to learn by OBDII new tire locations with no issue… this was after being told it wasn’t possible by a manager at tire discounter who told me that it wasn’t possible to do a five tire rotation on a Tacoma or a Lexus and update by ECU. I explained what I was looking to do twice and he was unable to give me confidence. I decided to not pay him for his recommendation that would limit me and instead trusted the reviews of others and input from an actually user of an Autel system. I am glad I didn’t listen to him and stick with a 4 tire rotation setup and not update by OBDII. Clearly not all techs or managers are up on technology. That or they are trying to con you into buying their product to maximize their profit. . Here are many pros. Updates a free for life. Verse a lot of the other brands where you have to pay for them. That can be more than $100 a year. It can update via Wi-Fi. No PC needed. Took a minute to figure it out but once I registered on line the devise and ran the update a second time it ran through with no issue. It can do quick learn procedure and advanced. It can update ECU by OBDII. It can program blank Autel MX sensors. You can clone or create new ID’s. It can create ID’s for Autel Sensors from 1-16 sensors at a time. I did all 5 of mine with one step verses 5 individual processes. This would be very hand for those that have to do a fleet of vehicles. It can read and update the ECU for a majority of all OEM and after market brands. Only con is it cannot program blank sensors from other brands, but not an issue for me. I went with creating my ID’s and I have two full size (summer/winter) sets of tire five tires to do a five tire rotation. It worked perfect and had no issues. Did exactly what it was advertised to do. Ps. I broke the bead of the tire by using a car jack under my hitch and raised the jack while it pressed down on the side wall of the tire as it pushed against the hitch till the bead broke on the one side with the valve. There a videos to walk you through this. I was able to pull out all 5 valve steams and install the MX sensors and then inflate the tires. You need a real air compressor though. Not a 12v air compressor. The sensors are light enough that they extra weight didn’t cause an issue with the balance. I was able to install all these at home myself saving $30-$50 per tire depending on the tire shop. Saved $160-$250.

So far so good. I just replaced the TPMS sensors on my 2010 Honda Odyssey and it worked great. A little learning curve but not too bad. Instructions are decent. Detailed instruction manual is online if the quick start guide isn't sufficient. I ended up duplicate programming 2 of my sensors and didn't discover it until after I had all the tires back on. No problem, I just did an OBD relearn and program of all the sensors, in-place, and then cleared the DTC's and all was well. It did take me a couple of times of fiddling with it to get that all figured out (since I was too impatient to go read the manual :-) but that helped me learn the tool better. This tool will pay for itself after you've done 1-2 vehicles. I wish I could take away 1/2 star if I could because the Wifi piece is very difficult to input the wifi password. I just updated it via USB and that was okay Autel needs to work on making that part easier. Otherwise it is a great tool and I highly recommend it.

It works as advertised. The only real issue I have is that I was not informed that I would need to register & provide personal information in order for this thing to work. The policy is invasive. I don't like having my data mined. If I had known this before I purchased, I would have bought something else. I will avoid all Autel products in the future.

The Wifi product registration and Wifi software update was a breeze on this Autel TPMS Tool. I successfully scanned three good sensors on my 2011 Dodge Challenger, verified one bad sensor and programmed a new Autel sensor without any difficulty. The Autel operation manual is very easy to follow and reasonably detailed. Since I anticipate the other 3 sensors on this Dodge will be failing soon and sensors on my 2013 Ford Escape will also be failing soon, I believe this Autel Tool and Sensor Kit will easily end up paying for itself.

works good had problem identifying a sensor in box but after reset and 2nd time calibrating it was able to make work. TOOL works good the sensors I am still gotta install on a few vehicles before i rate them
