Because a batch equipment in our repair shop has reached the end of its useful life recently and needs to be replaced, and because the vehicle system has become more complex and exquisite in recent years, it needs tablet products with better diagnostics speed and stability, and can also be durable, so at the beginning, I only screened in a few well-known big brands such as Autel and Launch, and other miscellaneous brands were not considered. A few days ago, a customer who drove a truck and came for repair because of a brake system problem. As we started his half-loaded car, I noticed that the vehicle’s brake pedal felt unusually hard and braking was poor, and it was undoubtedly very dangerous to continue driving such a car on the road. Having just purchased a new Autel Maxisys Elite ll pro scanner, I did a full system scan of the vehicle using the tablet. The car diagnostics quickly detected a problem and provided a detailed list of fault codes. I found a fault code associated with the EBP (electronic brake force distribution) system, which is most likely the cause of brake anomaly. There’s an abnormal reading from the brake pressure sensor, indicating an imbalance in pressure distribution. I first checked the brake pressure sensor and found that one of the connections was loose. I plugged the connector back in and make sure the connection was secure. After that, I started the car and tested the braking effect. This time, the brake pedal feels smoother and braking force is back to normal. Then I ran the diagnostics again and scanned the entire EBP system. This time, no fault codes anymore. Autel Maxisys Elite ll pro is such a magical and easy to use product, the panel is very simple and clear, as easy as operating a mobile phone, and the compatibility of cars is the highest among all brands of diagnostics instruments, which is the most important for auto repair shops, because customers vehicles from the last century to this century have all kinds of models. In practical use, the level of smoothness in operation has significantly increased. Operating the tablet is also straightforward, with a well-organized menu layout that makes it easy to find the desired function quickly. Additionally, it features Intelligent Diagnosis 2.0, which provides repair guidance for issues. After all, not everyone using this product can independently resolve all vehicle problems. In such cases, the original manufacturer's fault diagnosis and resolution logs, remote networking, and other functions can offer additional solutions, effectively serving as an extra advisory team for the tablet.     • Missing a year of updates
After purchasing this scanner I registered it with autel but it only comes with 1 year of updates even the description states 2 free years of updates.
