Throughout my career just about every shop I’ve been has an Autel scan tool of some sort. I have used several other scan tools but I have always preferred the Autel. I guess it’s because I like the user interface and its ease of use. It’s not as nice as using some factory scan tools but it gets the job done and at a fraction of the cost it takes to subscribe to using factory equipment. I finally purchased one of my own and have no buyers remorse whatsoever. I would recommend this scan tool to any experienced technician who use scan tools on the daily. ... show more

I bought my scanner from amazon ! Its just to bad the serial number is from a cloned unit and unable update , Too Bad I love the Scanner should have bought directly from autel

I am a retired auto mechanic and I have used Autel scan tools at the shop I was working at. Now I am retired but, still enjoy working on cars. The MK906BT is perfect for the DIY mechanics at home. Linked up to my WIFI and printer for emails and invoices. Easy onscreen navigation.

    • This thing is very slow and I wish I hadn't bought it.
This thing is the slowest scan tool in our shop. I bought it last fall and I used it for a while thinking I would get more used to it and things would work better. I realized way too late that I wasted my money. I can't get my money back but I sure wish I could. The only thing I can do is make sure anyone in my shop or other places I deal with know not to buy autel scan tools. I sure could have spent the money on something better. I just can't believe how awful this thing is. ... show more

Used on several different cars, intuitive menu navigation and tool location. Would like to see more public support videos on this model, but it’s a new release and they will get there!

    • Do not buy! You MUST pay $500 a year "subscription" to continue using your tool each year.
The MK906BT worked great the first year of ownership (3/7/21-3/10/22). After the first year, my tool is inoperative on most vehicles and requires an Autel Total Car Program Subscription. After numerous calls to Autel, they told me the $500 "Subscription" was required to use the tool (specifically on 2017-up FCA, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep vehicles). This was not relayed to me or anyone else at the time of purchase. I do not recommend purchasing the tool unless you are ok with a mandatory $500/year fee. In my opinion, it is extortion after the purchase and bad business practices on Autel's part. ... show more
