My favorite thing about these crossbars is how detailed they make their instructions to where it’s almost impossible to mess up. Usually with things like this you spend more time trying to figure out where things go than actually assembling the product but this was very satisfying to put together. They give you all the tools including a nice socket wrench and a tool to take the caps off your cars stock bars to install the cross bars. It only took me about 20 minutes from start to finish and It was very strong and sturdy. I attached my existing Thule on it and it’s holding strong no problems. Includes a simple installation guide. Quality nuts and washers with handy tools provided. Installation is easy and everything fits easily and tightly together. I purchased these crossbars for my 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE and they look great and were simple to put together and install. I have them and the large Thule cargo carrier which is a perfect match. Crossbars are very good quality and very easily assembled and installed. NOTE: Don’t remove individual pieces from boxes during assembly as they could give you trouble if mixed up. Much thicker than the OEM bars and look great! Plug and play, easy installation. Only complaint is the dust cover for the keyhole on all four parts has already begun to rust. If you get this product, shoot some Vaseline or grease on the keyhole to keep the rust away.

No problems assembling them. The bars are sturdy, and rigid. The locks work well. The trick to the instructions is "right-side" "left-side" (FR, FL, RR, RL). The right/left from facing the vehicle or passenger seat? The bars also have the matching indicators, but also include and arrow "Front Of Vehicle". So get them matched and dry-fit and it will be clear which way they go. ... show more
