    • Better than competitors
Previously have used the Colgate whitening LED with the little vials of the whitening serum (which appear to be discontinued now). So I switched to the Overnight Colgate Whitening Pen with LED light and used that for 10 days. The Colgate Pen with LED light did make teeth whiter over the 10 days, but still had some yellow near the bottom of the teeth. I used the AuraGlow 35% with LED and after one session, felt like my teeth were noticeably whiter even after using the Colgate pen with LED for 10 days in a row. However, two things to note: 1) The AuraGlow did sting a little along my gumline where my gums might have been a bit sensitive due to the previous 10 days of the Colgate pen. That being said, I could feel it working more than the Colgate pen. 2) The time is much longer than Colgate pen (which is only 10 mins each day) as compared to the 30 mins for the AuraGlow. 3) Dispensing the whitening serum is a bit tricky to only use one "use" because the two syringes each have 10 uses, so you slowly squirt it out, then stop and look, and then keep going. TLDR: Overall, better than the competing whitening serum & LED light from Colgate and you can feel it work. I would be nervous about using the 44% concentration given the stinging I felt in my gum line from this 35%. Will keep using it for another couple of days unless the pain gets worse. So far, would order more of this to keep whitening over time. ... show more

    • Periodontal disease sensitivity
it says that a small fraction of people will feel sensitivity around their gums... I'm one of them. it's also only peroxide, though? 🤷🏻♀️. I use chlorhexidine mouthwash after blushing and flossing, so that probably doesn't make it feel any better. so, if you have periodontal disease,be prepared to feel the burn. I feel it particularly in my top two teeth. maybe take it easy at first, like 10 mins twice a day. aside from that, though I will say... I had a dark brown SOMETHING along my gumline around a single tooth near the back and it worried me so much because it looked like it was rotting!! it never hurt, but it looked so bad i thought i would have to get it pulled in a year or 2... anyway, after using this for 30 minutes TWICE, it's faded so much now that I know it was just a stain... a very specific stain... I wish I'd have taken before and after pictures of it... not that I miss it. very, very, very happy with this product. I love the future lol. ... show more

I was skeptical....Im a 70 year old who has lived on espresso red wine and cigars. My teeth were way yellow.Was meaning to do something about it for the last several years but the cost at the dentists office was ridiculous. On my last dental visit,in the waiting room,my dentist had a display of a similar product by a name brand toothpaste so I figured if shes recommending this as an alternative it must be good. I went home and found the Auraglow brand at half the price as the "name brand". In only three uses I see a marked difference in the color of my teeth.Its easy to use but you have to be careful not to over use the gel on each treatment. You just insert it and carry on your activity around the house and before you know it the thirty minutes are up.It its even great that it has timer built in and beeps when the time is up. I have tried many teeth whiteners in the past. They always hurt my teeth and gums so I stop using them after 2 or 3 tries. Plus I'm tethered to a USB cord for 10 or 15 minutes, which is really inconvenient. This unit works fantastic, is super easy to use, I can move around while it's whitening and it doesn't hurt at all. My teeth were noticeably whiter after 3 uses. The mouth tray is a little large, but I made it work. It also isn’t exactly clear where to put the gel. There are no instructions as to how often you should charge the tray. The light stopped half way through the 3rd day so I will just charge every other day. My lower gums were a little soar during my 3rd use and when I removed the tray they were discolored. I am assuming I just had too much gel in the bottom. On the other hand it doesn’t seem like my top teeth are getting gel up to the gum line. I think this is just going to take some getting used to applying. I like how the light automatically turns off when the 30 minutes is up. The price is good for the product. ... show more

I went down 2 shades in the first use. This stuff is awesome. The only complaint is the on/off switch is activated by just touching the round white part and i mean just touching it. It's on a 30 minute timer, so if you touch it to adjust it, it's going to turn off and you have to start all over. I suggest having a separate timer. Definitely works as it’s described! Which was surpising to me since i find most of these things are a gimmick. After the first 2 days i was 2 shades lighter. Doesn’t cause gum or teeth sensitivity like other one have caused for me which is a huge plus ! I highly recommend

I've got my fingers crossed that this will succeed. I've done two applications so far. No clear results yet. I'm glad the product isn't stronger, however. I can see how it might be irritating. The flavor is pleasant - no issues there! It may take me six to ten treatments to see a positive result. I'll stick to it and see what happens. The product is easy to use and the recharging capability of the accelerator light is nice. I'd post "before and after" photos, but the world is different now. ... show more
