Unboxed and my cat immediately pounced on it. He scratches on it, bats the ball, tries to disembowel the mouse, and it shows no wear after a couple of weeks. Sometimes he just sits in the middle. It’s large and doesn’t tip over. It’s on a rug but doesn’t slide around no matter how rough he plays.

The media could not be loaded. My cat will soon be turning 8 and I wanted to keep her feeling young and active! This toy was definitely perfect for her. She will constantly find the energy to randomly run towards the toy and spin the ball around and uses the scratchpad frequently. The mouse is a nice addition, but she pretty much ignores that. The first day we opened it she was nonstop playing with it. Important** I suggest taking the ball out of the track at night to avoid having your sleep disrupted by the spinning noise LOL The ball is weighted and it spins pretty well, however, there is a spot in the track that seems to be a little tighter around the ball and sometimes will slow the ball down. I was hoping for this to be a little more smooth flowing, or even a bit larger considering the price I paid for it. I have seen cheaper prices for the same quality, however, it does the trick and keeps my cat happy and full of life. ... show more

My female cat loves to scratch as the center and sit on it but my male cat loves to tap the ball and watch it go round. The center may need constant replacing. The ball doesn’t come out but my dog was able to do so, but it was able to click back into place lol

This is my kitten, ziggys favorite toy, hands down. My older girl, Pickles doesn’t use it anymore, she’s a very mature 3 yr old now. Ziggy loves to attack the ball, hide from it, attack the little stuffed mouse attached to the spring & then the ball again. They spend lots of time, pushing the ball back-and-forth to each other.
