I looked at every single old fashioned metal tin to store laundry detergent that Amazon had to offer. And I scrutinized the reviews and sizes and other details such as: how much the cup holds, does the lid come off with one hand or do you need two, is it sturdy or flimsy and wobbly, etcetera. This one was not only the largest and best made but the design was the cutest, in my opinion. It was also one of the most expensive, but, in this case you get what you pay for! Now, I did have a problem with the first one that was sent out. The box was damaged, had a hole leaving the product exposed and I believe it was damaged through transit. The rubbing against the pavement didn't affect it cosmetically but was a little rough against your skin. Not a manufacturer's error; a problem that occurred during transit and actually fared pretty well. I returned that one and an exchange was sent in it's place and this one arrived in perfect condition. This item is well made, adorable and holds way more than any other similar product on Amazon at the time of this review. The compliments I received for a metal laundry detergent tin were extremely favorable and now my friends want one for themselves! This laundry detergent bin is adorable! Just what I was looking for so I don’t have to look at the cardboard box, since my office space is also in the laundry room. A little spendy but happy with my purchase! Seems good quality and completely sealed on bottom inside so powder will not leak through.
