With an outer shell made of 100% nylon taffeta, this Hooded jacket body, sleeves and hood are lined with a 75% polyester/13% rayon/12% cotton blend. Fleeced with grey heather, this Hooded jacket has a center front zipper with inside storm flap, and a hood with drawcord and sliders (Boys' version has elastic in hood instead of drawcord). the set-in sleeves, reinforced slash front pockets with zippers, elastic cuffs and bottom band round out the features of this water-resistant, machine-washable, nylon taffeta jacket.

Just the type of jacket I was looking for. Totally lined inside including the sleeves, hood, blocks the wind. Gathered sleeve cuffs and waist band is nice. Nice zippers on the side pockets keep stuff IN your pocket, deep too. Front zipper and storm flap a plus. Hood is lined and will fit over a ballcap, draws tight if need be. I love the navy color. Good jacket and made well. Nice color. I wish the band around the waist was a little looser. That wasn’t necessary to make that so snug. other than that, like it a lot.

I was looking for a casual hooded jacket that is water resistant, and warmer than a windbreaker but not heavy or thick. I looked at hundreds online and that’s amazingly hard to find. I love that it’s lined everywhere including the sleeves and hood with a cottony feeling soft jersey fabric instead of some annoying mesh that catches on everything or a cold slick nylon… it adds a light layer of warmth and feels MUCH better on my arms when I wear short sleeves. And the price is another plus: high value for the money. The only thing is the outer shell is nylon taffeta so it does make a bit of swooshing noise as you move, but most windbreakers do also. And they’re not lined. This jacket will be perfect for Seattle fall / winter and temperatures down to about 40 I’d guess, where there’s often might rain so the hood will come in handy. Amazon recommended a medium, but I found that too big; small is perfect. I’m 5’7” 160 lbs and usually wear medium in shirts. ... show more

I’ve only had this for one day and I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite jackets. I really wanted a fabric-lined windbreaker and this is exactly that. Gives me early 2000s vibe. Build quality is excellent and sizing is good. The arm width is a little bit big but it doesn’t bother me. Overall, it keeps me warm and helps block the wind. Great jacket! ... show more

Had a hard time finding this style so I was happy when I came across it on Amazon to replace a similar jacket that I had for 15 years. Bought navy hoping it would be darker than as shown in picture: it was, it's really navy. For the price I was expecting the jacket to be a little better quality, it's well made but the material seems cheap. The sizing seems a bit off, I wear medium but this jacket is like something between small & medium. It fits, but it's not too roomy, it'll work well with a t-shirt or 1 layer underneath which is how I would wear it in spring time weather. So if anybody is a "larger" medium, go with large. I'll keep it because it has the features I need: zip pockets, elastic cuffs, banded bottom so it just doesn't hang there, it's more form fitting. Have not worn it in the rain yet but I expect it to be water repellent in light rain like the jacket I'm replacing. ... show more
