This is a must have if you are installing aftermarket amps on a stock radio. I bought a JL Audio amp and sub for my car and for the longest time it never sounded good, there was always something missing. The bass was always off and on fast drums the subwoofer sound sloppy and I would get a headache. For a while I took out the sub as it made music sound worst. I wish I bought this the day I installed my system. Wasted almost 2 years of owning the system. What a difference! Bass is so clean and smooth. The sub is able to hit all the bass notes at a even level, not only the deep bass but everything. It makes music sounds so clear on the highs too. When I got it I was excited because I needed one then at closer look I noticed that someone had repackaged it the instructions were folded and it was missing a screw too connect the power and remote once I got everything situated and found the screws that I needed everything worked fine
