Although I don’t own an ATV myself, I initially thought that this cushion would serve as a comfortable accessory for riding on my friend's ATV. The construction of the cushion is impressive; it's clearly well-made, and it fits snugly into the designated ATV seat. One feature I particularly appreciate is the hook-and-loop straps located on the sides and back, which allow for secure attachment to the vehicle, ensuring that it won’t shift while I’m riding. However, I did find the padding to be a bit softer than I expected. When sitting on it flat, I felt as though I was sitting directly on the hard surface beneath, as the padding didn’t offer the support I needed to comfortably absorb the bumps during the ride. Instead of relegating it to the corner, I decided to repurpose the cushion, leveraging its potential for a different use. As someone who works as a mobile mechanic, I spend a considerable amount of time kneeling while taking off tires and performing repairs. I thought to use the cushion as a knee pad for this purpose. By folding it in half and using the straps to secure it, I created a makeshift knee pad that provides much-needed protection. The thickness of the padding, when folded, effectively shields my knees from hard surfaces, making my work much more comfortable. In conclusion, while the cushion may not excel in its intended role of providing comfort during ATV rides, it can certainly be repurposed for other applications, such as a knee pad, making it a worthwhile option for those who can find a secondary use for it.

This ATV rack pad is a simple upgrade that adds some cushioning to a rear rack for either a passenger spot or to protect gear you strap down. I used it on a four wheeler where the rear rack was solid but not comfortable and it made the rack feel more practical right away. The pad feels well made with decent thickness and a cover that looks like it can handle normal outdoor use. The material has a durable feel and the black finish looks clean without drawing a lot of attention. It also adds a little grip so cargo does not slide around as easily on bare metal bars. Installation is quick with the adjustable straps, and once tightened it stayed put without shifting around. After riding, it still felt secure and it made the rear rack more comfortable when sitting back there briefly. If you want an easy way to add comfort and protect cargo on an ATV rack, this pad is a solid choice.

Got this for my pup to ride along when doing yar chores. It will do the job, but im debating covering it in gorilla tape or something, as i dont think it will stand up to claws (but, its probably not supposed to) its decent density foam, a couple inches thick. the straps seem okay, my atv is a little narrower than this pad so its a bit bunched up, but thats a me problem. Itll work!
