  • Works great on PM affecting Zinnias
I grew 350+ zinnia flowers, all from seed, in both pots and in the ground. The one's in the ground are in the front of my house and the pots are in the back. They were healthy and strong and beautiful until the end of August or maybe into September when they quickly were overcome by Powdery Mildew. It may have been in the plants a while, but the powdery visual symptoms came on pretty fast. In a week or two, ALL the leaves were completely covered in this horrible stuff. By he time I did my research and bought this product, some of the plants had outright died, although most still had nice flowers and even new buds coming out every day on their browning stems. I wanted to enjoy them a while longer, but mostly wanted to eradicate as much as I could so the spores wouldn't turn up next year. Well, this stuff did the trick. I mixed and sprayed everything at 2ml per gallon of water. In the potted plants, I saw improvement within 24 hours. After after 3 or 4 days, it was mostly all gone. During that time, there was no rain to wash the leaves, but it was windy. In the front where the flowers were in the ground, they got a double dose because I wanted to use up what I had mixed. I am talking about hundreds of flowers, many 6.5 feet high but most 3-5 feet tall, planted 18" apart, so the double dose was warranted to get everything anyway. The effect was slower. Maybe there wasn't as much wind or maybe being in the ground had something to do with it, I don't know. I saw improvement after a few days. Now it has been a couple weeks and the season is about over, but after a rain yesterday, most of the visible PM is gone in front. I'd estimate 80%, and what is still there may actually be dead. My plants took a beating, but not from the fungicide - that seemed to have no affect on the plants overall health. Next year I will inoculate them with this stuff early on and maybe rotate to another systemic to avoid the PM building resistance. I know this chemical can be controversial, but used responsibly, I decided it's ok, and I'm glad I did. I did not plant almost 400 flowers from seed so my wife could watch them get ravaged and diseased. Thank you, Gravex! ... show more

  • Worked on yard fungus
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Saw this was an alternative to a brand I can’t recall to treat a fungus in my yard. I had 2 spots of equal size in the pic. I removed the dead grass and treated the area, plus my entire yard. The pic is about 4-6 wks after I applied it. Cost effective Ease of application: The bottle has a very handy spout with measurements so you can add the correct amount to the spray container. Insecticide effectiveness: Worked well. ... show more

  • Tackled my Brown Rot problem on peaches
Orderd to treat peaches for Brown Rot since I lost so much of my last crop to it. This time I started using it just a couple of weeks before harvest (that was when I finally was able to figure out what the culprit was, how to treat it and found this product) and only found one or two peaches with brown rot, a HUGE difference over last time. So I’d say it works! We’ve always had a lot of fungus here where I live and this year we’ve gotten tons of rain so only 1 or two out of several dozen peaches is a win. ... show more
