I have wanted a laser engraver forever, so I was ridiculously excited to try this, and honestly? This thing is awesome. As someone who already spends way too much time with my Cricut and random crafting projects, this was surprisingly beginner friendly to get started with. Setup was easy, the software wasn’t intimidating, and I was engraving things much faster than I expected. The machine itself feels solid and well made, especially for the price point. It doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap at all. I’ve tested it on wood and a few other materials so far and the engraving quality has been really impressive. Clean lines, good detail, and very easy to adjust settings once you start experimenting a bit. I also appreciate that the software includes templates and presets because it makes the learning curve WAY less overwhelming for beginners. One thing I do want to mention, because I think it’s important: I personally ONLY use this outside. Laser engravers absolutely need proper ventilation and safety precautions, especially indoors. The included safety goggles are nice, but please still use common sense and research laser safety before using any engraver indoors. Overall though, I’m genuinely really impressed with this machine. Fun, beginner friendly, versatile, and a really great entry point into laser engraving without spending a fortune.

I have been using the ATOMSTACK Swift 3W laser engraver. The design feels compact and sturdy. The aluminum frame feels solid. It arrived fully assembled, so setup was quick and simple. The software is easy to use with templates and AI tools. I connected it via WiFi. The engraving quality on wood leather and acrylic is clean and detailed. I would say that the value for money is very good. The main strength is beginner friendly operation and portability. The main weakness is the small work area and limited cutting power. It is best for small creative projects.

This was a super fun project for my wife and I. We've been interested in 3D printers and associated gadgetry for a while. We were thrilled to burn stuff with lasers. It was very easy to setup. It comes mainly assembled. You just throw the laser on and connect the power cable. It is a compact size. It is versatile for snall crafts. It can easily do things like burn leather for a wallet or burn wood for an ornament. The quality is excellent for beginners. They have easy to use software that reproduces projects with great accuracy, but it also supports 3rd party laser engraver software. It is a great value for the money. The only trouble with it is that you realize that bigger frames and more accesories will let you do more, so you go down a rabbit hole. I guess that is the sign of any good hobby. Five stars.

I was really impressed right out of the box—this comes fully pre-assembled, so I didn’t have to mess with putting anything together. I was up and running in no time. I love how compact it is. It doesn’t take up a ton of space, which is perfect for my setup. The AI software is actually pretty easy to use. I’m not super technical, but I figured it out quickly without feeling overwhelmed. I’ve used it on wood and leather so far, and the detail came out really clean—better than I expected for a 3W machine. The WiFi, hotspot, and USB options are super convenient. I like having flexibility depending on what device I’m using. The work area is a nice size for the kinds of things I like to make—keychains, small gifts, and little custom pieces. It’s definitely more for lighter projects though. If you’re planning to cut thicker materials, this probably isn’t the one. One of my favorite things is how portable it is. I can move it around easily without it being a hassle. Overall, I’m really happy with it. It’s beginner-friendly, easy to use, and works great for small projects and crafting. Definitely a good option if you’re just getting into engraving or want something simple but reliable.

This mini engraver seems to be made from quality parts, comes entirely assembled and, except for the app for your phone or the program for your computer, (you can use one or both,) it is completely ready for you to begin using. You will need a ventilated space because regardless of what your engraving—wood, metal, leather, acrylic, and more—there will be fumes. The engraver comes with safety goggles, a couple of spare parts, and easy to follow instructions. It's also very easy to pack up and take with you when traveling or on the go, though a case is not included. Overall: I'd say that, for those looking to get into engraving, this is an excellent one to keep in mind—and for a fair price.

I have other laser engravers and saw this diode one so I decided to give it a try. These diodes can do fine work compared to larger beam CO2 ones. The 3 watt spec is actually the output. A lot of other machines show input power, not output. So this one gives you an accurate measure. This will work well on canvas and paper and similar thin items. There are a ton of processes you can use with diode machines that CO2 and fiber cannot do well. Multi-layer engraving using NWT type methods and even using the color scratch paper work well with this lower output machine. Don’t expect fast engravings. Diodes are the slowest types of laser engravers. The lower the wattage, the slower the results will be. It might also take many passes to get the results you are looking for. This is a great machine to start out with. The engraving area is small so simple items like coasters or wooden keychains would work well. It is very easy to hook up to a PC. There are plenty of free software to use with it. The safety glasses were a little tight for me so I bought a better pair. You must always use protective glass to protect your eyes from reflection of the beam. Even with its low power, it can still damage your eye if the beam hits you. I highly recommend this as a starer set to anyone looking at getting a laser engraver. It is fun to use and lets you experiment with different material at a low cost. I highly recommend it.
