Easy assembly. Clear instructions. Dual wattage allows for a wide variety of projects from engraving to cutting wood. I've only used it for wood and does very well.

The reason I give this purchase a 3 is due to the fact that the power supply for the laser stopped working after the first day of use. I contacted Amazon for assistance, they referred me to the manufacturer. After sending and receiving about seven emails, I still have no answer about replacing the faulty adapter. I cannot recommend this product.

The quality of the machine and it's perormance are 5 STAR however not so much for their customer service, instructions and parts. I was missing 3 screws and it took almost a week for them to agree to send them to me. They say that they have 24/7 support however that is not true. All contact is via email and the quickest response is 1 day. Also the screws are shipped from China so that will take 2 weeks or more not very good if you need to have the machine. Still waiting for the screws but no problem, I purchased them at Lowes for $3. My advice is if parts are missing just return it to Amazon and request a replacement much quicker thanwaiting for suppor to reply and send the missing parts. If this is the first laser that you have assembled you my encounter some problems. They retooled some parts and did not include revised instructions. Also the parts bags were not properly labeled. That said the dual 24/40W laser is a nice feature. Cutting and engraving times are significantly reduced, some times I am able to cut production times by 30% or more. Othet good features are the auto-focus, cross-hair position indicator, fairly quiet operation, the Y axis cable cover and the included air compressor. It is a very good buy for novice users.

This is a very powerful Diode laser, works very well especially for engraving on stainless steel. Only problem is that they didn’t send a South African plug with the power supply. I had to go buy a plug converter in order to get it up and running.
