    • Works well but newer model fixes everything.
Great monitor, compatible with multiple cameras. The only thing I didn't like was the proprietary ssd that only works with this monitor. Now I have to buy a SATA dongle. I recommend the newer ninja that uses the CF EXPRESS. If you get it on sale it's a must buy.

    • Disappointed with the Condition – Open Box and Screen Issues
I was really excited to receive my Atomos Ninja Ultra, but unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. Upon arrival, the box was already opened, which immediately raised concerns. To make matters worse, the screen had visible bubbles underneath, making it look like either a returned or poorly handled product. For a premium device at this price point, I expected flawless quality right out of the box. Instead, I’m left wondering whether this was sold as new or if it went through poor quality control. If you’re investing in a product like this, the unboxing experience and build quality are crucial – and sadly, this fell short. I would not recommend purchasing this unless Atomos and the seller can ensure proper packaging and product integrity. ... show more

    • The perfect monitor recorder….except….
This is an amazing evolution of the Ninja V. However it does not have Wifi, Bluetooth, or a USB C port for some reason. So you MUST get the connect device. To even do a firmware update, you need to plug the SSD into your computer and transfer the firmware files. This also means that you can’t use it to control your camera like you can on the Shinobi (which is ½ the price!) seems like a massive miss, or a means to force you to get the connect device. So I hesitate to say it’s really “Ultra”. Just “plus.” If you want to get to ultra, you’re going to have to buy more things for it. ... show more

I've been through 2 and support is no help. Nothing records from HDMI or SDI any codec or camera output. Multiple drives, reboots, latest firmware, you name it. Nothing works literally here. So I guess buy if you enjoy owning a reaaaaaaaly expensive monitor that can't record anything.
