bought a tire changes from harbor freight. ended up ordering this piece to use with the tire changer from HF. It was indeed the missing piece and made changing tires way easier. And the price is great for the quality.

Works well, but I find it annoying that when you remove the duck head by turning the knobs loose, there isn’t a way to return it to exactly the same position. I wonder if holes and a spring loaded pin would be better and more efficient as ell as repeatable. Overall not bad, I’ve used it on 3 sets of tires and it’s paid for itself as well as the HF tire changer. For anyone trying to figure out how to secure the changer to keep it from falling, drill some hole in your garage floor and install some anchors that are threaded to 3/8 bolts inside. Then just get the right length bolts and there you go, it’s solid as a rock.

I wish I could give no stars. It showed up with a broken head on the upper wing bolt. Then, the first time using it the weld around the wing bolt on top came loose. Then the head on the other wing bolt started free spinning effectively making it useless. The entire thing would raise up on the mounting machine, causing the duck head to slip out of the tire. By the time I was done with the tire I had a C-clamp holding the top in place because of the broken weld, I had a pair of vice grips attached to the side wing bolt so it could be tightened and loosened, I had a screw driver through the top of the mounting machine so that the attachment couldn’t ride up and I had a second person with a cheater bar leveraging the upright tube to prevent it from leaning outward and slipping out of the tire. Total disaster. Poorly designed. Had great potential if not for the design flaws cheap parts and poor workmanship. I may try another brand or buy a duck head a design and build my own.

The fact that it fits on my Harbor Freight tire machine with a very good fit is amazing ! Way beyond my expectations . And when I finish the bead breaker mod , I'll have the ultimate tire machine 👍 !

Came and the tightener inserts wouldnt tighten, i cut them off rewelded nuts and used bolts to tighten it up. Takes a few tries but once you figure out how to do it, it does make it alot easier and protects your wheels. I wouldnt say youre saving a bunch of time doing it this way, but if you have nice wheels this will keep them nice

Used it to remove one tire. While removing the next tire, the screw holding the vertical pipe in place stripped and is just endlessly spinning, making the product useless. I just used it as intended, and it does not work now, so I’m returning it. The duck head is also very cheap plastic, not reinforced or glass ABS or anything, so the force of trying to get the tire up over onto the duck head caused the duck head to bend and deform. Very cheap product, would not recommend!
