  • A Masterpiece of our Times.
This is, by all means, the best book of The Seven Sisters series. The challenge was titanic: to create a story that explained , justified, gave coherence and linked the stories of the earlier books. Just when you think everything has been revealed, new twists and turns continue to add to the magic and the richness of the story as a whole. Lucinda Riley’s work has been undoubtedly honored by the extraordinary talent and hard work of her son, Harry Whittaker, who created an amazing story, while managing to keep alive the magic of this series from the beginning to the end of this beautiful book. ... show more

I have the series & enjoyed reading all of them. This did not disappoint. I love the original authors writing style & her son did an excellent job of completing this book, since she passed away.

  • The last book in a series
The author's son finished the last book in the series. He did a good job I would say and I thank him for his completion of the outstanding series for his mother who couldn't finish it. Thank you! I will miss your mother's books. My favorite author! May she rest in peace .

  • What a loss!
I read this book in a few days. As I learned about the connections of the sisters, I was saddened to realize that the intricate plot that Ms. Riley researched, developed, and wrote will no longer be. Her readers will miss her books. I waited anxiously for this last publication and it was indeed wonderful to have it all come together. From the seven sisters, I learned much about the history of the lands from which they were adopted. Thus, I had my facts with my fiction. What a wonderful way to learn. Thank you Ms. Riley for educating me. Although the other six books were a bit "stand alone", this book could only be enjoyed if the others books were read first. Her fans will be happy to learn how things all blended in the end for the sisters. ... show more

  • Cool Book. Cool be shorter though
First, I want to deeply thank Harry Whitaker for writing this book. If it wasn’t for him, me and lots of other readers who stuck with the sisters for so long, would be left without knowing why and how everything happened. Said that, the book is good. It explains everything, who is Pa Salt and why and how he adopted all the sisters and also why he wasn’t abe to find Merope, the “missing sister”. I gave it 4 stars becaus the book is too long. Full of lots and lots of details, unnecessary, in my view. The flow of the narrative was slowed down due too many details, which didn’t add anything to the plot. But I enjoyed it very much. I felt like I was there with them, rooting for them, just like I did in the other books. Too bad Lucinda isn’t among us anymore. And once again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, HARRY WHITAKER. ... show more
