Little backstory as to why I purchased this product from Atlantic: I had my TV stolen over this past summer, and, out of luck, I found my TV via the tools of the internet. Funny thing is that when I got my TV back, it didn't have my OG stand. I looked for the manufacture stand, but it would burn a big hole in my pocket ($200). Now to this wonderful wonderful stand. I will do a pros and cons list. PROS: 1. Pricing couldn't have been better I saved $175 when compared to my OG stand replacement. 2. Quality could not have been better. The stand is metal with some plastic accents to make it look sleek, but the stand is quite sturdy and will keep your TV from falling. 3. Installation is a breeze and took me maybe 10 mins to get together. The manual is visual and extremely helpful. You are given plenty of different screws and washers for different TVs. 4. Since the stand uses the back if your TV instead of the manufacturer's stand slot, it will pretty much fit all TVs. CONS: 1. Wasn't free! But hey, I'll take this any day when compared to $200! OVERALL: I strongly recommend this stand as a replacement for anyone who lost their OG TV stand - or got it stolen - or anyone who thinks their OG stand is too wobbly and is afraid their TV may fall on its face. Will but this product again if something unfortunate happens to my TV again. I am not paid for this. I reviewed this on my break time in between trying to apply to for consulting and advisory companies, so that when I graduate I'll have a job. So, I honestly don't get paid to do this. I was severely pessimistic about these actually working, I have a 56" Hisense TV that I absolutely love; it has great features and a great image. In fact, when we moved they boxed everything up and built crates for the TV's to all go to storage for 3 months of temporary housing. Well, we wanted this with us so I drove it up with us and when we broke the crate down we realized they didn't have the stand. This is the only thing reasonably priced that could be delivered within a reasonable time while we were in temp housing. I was positive it would be a waste of money but I bought it anyways. Let me tell you, I was wrong. This is extremely easy to install, extremely sturdy, and holds my TV absolutely beautifully. Yeah, I gushed. Because this thing is the beauty of simplicity and good engineering. I would definitely by again if I needed and I am certain this can hold larger TV's as it has many mount points. ... show more

I am assembling the stand as I type this. My initial observations are that the stand is quite sturdy and seems well made; the pieces measure 3/32" thick; the holes exactly match the VESA mounting holes on my Vizio tv (200mm? It's a 43" display, and the holes are roughly 8" apart); the holes in the angled base pieces are slotted where the vertical rails attach, and there is a thin layer of foam on the bottoms of the feet so that it doesn't scratch whatever you place it on. There are 4 each of an assortment of M4, M5, M6, and M8 screws to mount your TV to the rails, and 4 each of two different sizes of washers, and 4 each of two different sizes of spacers to mount TVs with offset holes, or to allow room for cables. I had 1 nut with a fouled thread which was easily overcome with a little effort, and 1 washer of the wrong size for the base assembly, but I had a spare on hand. There is no "extra" hardware per se, as I need the larger washers; otherwise I would have used one of the those on the base. Combined with the fouled thread, I would knock off half a star if I were able. If you are using this on a display that uses M4 or M5 screws, this would be a non-issue. Beyond that, the instructions are simple and clear, and it has gone together easily with the included hex key and stamped wrench. For the money, i'm quite satisfied with this. I could not have made anything cheaper, or with so little effort, nor was I able to find anything I liked half as much, at less than twice the cost. The hardware issue is literally the only snag so far. I would recommend this item. ... show more

Was very pleased based on the price. The stand is made of fairly heavy steel so it feels sturdy. I used on a 32" TV which is pretty light, but it seems like it would work equally as well for a heavier tv. If you do have a 32" or smaller TV though, the legs will stick out of the top of the tv unless you trim them, OR mount the tv higher on the stand but it looks dumb if you mount it that high. The good thing is, it was very easy to cut off the tops with a hack saw. This stand is great if you have the issue that I did, where all the new tv's seem to have their legs on the edges of the tv - I am replacing a 32" tv which sits on a 20" wide stand - which was fine for the old tv since its stand was in the middle, but the newer tv has legs on each edge of the tv and thus was too wide to fit on the stand. This remedies that situation quite well and inexpensively. ... show more

This is an awesome product and easy to install. The image is a little deceiving and doesn't quite show how the tv sits in the stand. It took about ten minutes to put together. It was almost too easy. I have a 42" flat screen and it worked with this TV stand with no problem. The package includes everything you will possibly need, except a screwdriver. When the TV is placed in the stand it is sturdy, but at first glance it doesn't appear so. There is a little movement with my TV because of where the holes for the screws are located. They sit high on the back of the television. Great product and great price. I recommend this product to everyone. ... show more
