I recently started working from home and was given a work laptop to use, but I also owned my own gaming setup. I didn't want to have to get two different desks with four different monitors and peripherals. Cue a KVM switch! Now, I am no expert regarding KVM switches and the features most available on the market, but what I can say is that this switch works beautifully! Currently, I have two 1080p monitors running at 120Hz and a powered USB hub connected to it. Everything works flawlessly, even with my peripherals (webcam, dedicated boom mic, keyboard, numpad, and mouse). I have a 63" standing desk, with my gaming desktop resting on top of a filing cabinet next to it. The USB 3 cables that come with the KVM kit were long enough to reach my desktop, but I had to use a spare USB 3 extension cable I had lying around to connect it to my laptop. Granted, I am certain the USB 3 cables are long enough for most users since I have a long desk. However, there was one issue: the external control switch that connects via a 3.5mm aux cable just wouldn't work, which bummed me out since I had the switch installed under my desk. Fortunately, Amazon connected me to the seller, Haobin, and they sent me a whole new unit free of charge. I received the unit in two days, swapped out the external control switch, and now I no longer have to go under the desk and press the button! Talk about great customer service and support! For $60, it does everything you need to run a dual monitor setup! TLDR; Received a unit with a faulty external control switch, contacted the seller, and they sent out a new unit free of charge. I received it in two days, swapped out the faulty switch, and I am extremely happy with the result. No issues with it running at 120Hz at 1080p for dual monitors, cables are long enough, and it feels extremely high quality. Gets the job done, and I highly recommend it!

I use this to switch my webcam and mic and light from my one work PC and personal PC. The button for switching is nice and tactile and the switch is fast. I have not noticed any signal loss on the camera or the mic. The KVM its self has a nice build as well.

Both keyboard and mouse cut out for a few seconds at a time. I’ve tried every configuration combination possible. It was exactly what I was looking for to save space but it’s too annoying to use. Update! The seller got in touch with me through Amazon and asked to describe the issues I was having. They said if the problems weren’t resolved, they would ship a new unit to me. The issues were resolved by a suggestion they made during troubleshooting. When I populated a USB device (stick) in addition to the mouse and keyboard, the switch started working flawlessly. Who knew? Updating to 4 stars due to good customer service that isn’t always easy to find these days. And the device is performing as I originally wanted it to.

This 2 port computer switch/share monitor works as promised. Just pushing a button allows you to switch between two computers on one monitor. The USB cables that are provided are a bit short and I had to purchase longer ones. It doesn't take up much room on your desk, but it might be a challenge to get all the wires organized and efficiently connected. It was a perfect fix for the dual computer problem - and I can now use both computers without changing desks.

The button is solid and does not ever cause unintentional switching like the TCNEWCL unit does. Also, my TCNEWCL unit only lasted me a few months until one of the outs burnt out and there are no Support options. Time will tell on the durability here, but so far it is working like a champ with no lagging, fast switching, and no video degradation.

Film editor and music production enthusiast here! First, this product isn't anything flashy, but it's necessary for someone with my setup. So glad that I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars for something similar! if you have two computers, two monitors, but only want one set of peripherals, this would be PERFECT! The only thing I wish it had was a dedicated audio port. I only have one speaker system as well, but I was able to resolve this with an audio splitter. Not the best to be honest, but I'll be replacing it with a dedicated audio interface anyhow

Connected keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam. Webcam was not detected at all, no matter which port was used. Any minor movement of the switch disconnected the other USB devices. The USB ports on the switch allowed for a lot of movement of the device cables/USB connectors, which may have contributed to why the disconnects happened whenever it was moved. Powered on, powered off, troubleshooted, etc. to no avail. Overall, disappointing device.
