I tried EVERY protein shake ever made. I am super picky when it comes to the taste of them. So this one is the winner. The vanilla one! Tastes like a vanilla milkshake and a pooping 30 grams of protein. One of the best things about these is that it keeps me full the longest! I wake up at 5 am, drink one at 8am and I'm full until 1 pm. Than I have grilled chicken with rice. Than at 6pm I do my exercises and have a protein bar. I had been drinking the Atkins Plus Protein shakes in the blue packaging, but tried these because they were a better deal. I compared the nutrition info on both and they are pretty much exactly the same, with only miniscule differences in vitamin content. I think these are the same as Atkins plus shakes. Don’t know why they are usually more expensive. I like the flavor and added vitamins and protein/fiber content - but way too costly to buy regularly- and the price keeps going up. Usually less expensive at warehouse stores. i usually buy these when they’re available for $1.50 or less each. these were $18 a 12 pack last month and now $24 and that's with subscribe and save 'discount?' _ R they a good value ? depends on how much money U have 2 spend these make fast convenient breakfast- add a little to my coffee and drink the rest. Taste is subjective. Value depends on how much money you can afford to spend. If you can afford them I’d recommend them. I don’t necessarily eat an Atkins diet, per se, yet this is the best prepackaged protein shake I have found. I love the taste and the texture and the fact that I feel satisfied. I love that each shake has 30 g of protein! I would always prefer to eat fresh food yet because of the nature of my life with two full-time jobs and five children, my husband and activities I participate in, these are incredibly convenient for a busy lifestyle.
