I have had these for a while now. They are sturdy and have a decent amount of adjustability to handle most sets. The ONLY real problems I see with this are the holders and the bulk. You can't really avoid the bulkiness on the adjustables, so that is not critical, but it is an issue. The holders? They aren't good. They hold the dumbells just fine, but they aren't the easiest to get the them in when they are on the floor. So I give them 5 stars for being what I though they were going to be and not dissapointing.

I b ought a set of two as I wanted to start a workout program and had good results with dumbbells a few years ago. I'm 55 now so wanted something I could start low and move up but without a bunch of dumbbells laying around. These are perfect. Take up little room and is easy to adjust weights.

So, I originally thought this wasn't working right, but after I took everything off and put it back etc. I think it might have been my fault that the product didn't originally work right or smoothly. I wouldn't say it's the best one out there, of course. However, at this price,it's much more affordable than others and for what it's for, it works pretty good once you get used to it and stuff. I haven't had anything fall off or anything, so, I'm changing my position to recommend. I got this a couple days ago. I just got around to getting it together. I have to say, compared to the apparently mostly glowing reviews, I am very frustrated with this product. I don't know if I'm just not doing something right or what, but I'm having a hard time changing weights, and the plates going back to their position. I took it out of the box at full weight, but let the plates off to make it easier to move. It took me over an hour, at any setting or plate configuration, to get the plates back on. Because they don't seem to want to go over the grey bar at the top. When I finally did get them all on, I tried it out on various weights and yeah, it grabbed and dropped various plates, but when trying to put the handle back in on the same setting I just picked it up at, it only goes halfway back down. This is ridiculous and making me very frustrated. Again, this maybe my fault, but I don't think so. It's like the plates don't exactly fit. Now, it's not picking them up right. I have to say I'm disappointed and honestly don't recommend this product. There's other options out there and, apparently, you do get what you pay for.

This is very versatile. It feels sturdy and the mechanism to change weights is really smooth. To change weights you press the red release button and rotate the wheel on the side to the selected weight. It is in kg but the conversion to pounds is easy, just multiply by 2.2 I actually like this since in my head I estimate by multiplying by 2 and know that I am lifting more than I think I am so that will show gains faster. It is also very sleek looking. It looks and feels way more expensive than some of the overpriced brands. The rubber grip is very comfortable and the cradle holds this thing super securely. I totally recommend this!

I was going to give it a 4-star out of 5, until I found out that the problem was user error on my end! After several uses, I noticed that I couldn't get back the setting to the full 25 lbs on the dial and only stopped at 22.5 with one weight on each side slipping off. I clicked the dial and rotated, pulled and tugged, but with no avail. I thought the unit was defective. That is of course until I finally realized that the individual weights were not all the same height. That meant that the weights could not fully clip unto the main base with the red clicker button facing upwards towards me since it didn't have the height range needed to reach the handle base. With the red clicker facing me, the open slot side of the weights was also facing me, so it can't clip on. When I finally rotated the dumbbell the opposite way with the red clicker in the bottom, the weights fell unto the base and clipped on without issues. I was back to having the full 25 on each setting once again. If you are having this issue, you might have been using it incorrectly just like me! That being settled, I give it a 5-star. It is very easy to use. Being that it's adjustable, anyone can use it in the family with their weight preferences without having to buy extra dumbbells. If space is an issue in your house, this would be a great alternative to buying more than 1 dumbbell with different weights. If you are the kind of person that likes to throw their dumbbells roughly on the concrete floor (like some people do with standard weights), then perhaps this might not be the choice for you. You'll break the dial and plastic components if you throw this on the concrete floor. For people who do take care of their workout equipment so they can last long, this is a great set of adjustable dumbbells to consider!

I was hesitant to get a multi-select dumbbell after having tried out some of the bigger names in a sports store a year or two ago... but with the covid situation drastically changing my ability to get to a gym I decided to try these out. They are great. Flat out. I’m a picky shopper and was worried they’d feel clunky or hard to adjust but they are super smooth and way less boxy than competitor versions. I find they’re balanced and very easy to use in a bunch of exercises or range of motion. I’ve already recommended these to several friends.

We bought two of these dumbbells and plates fall out of the dumbbell intermittently while you're working out. We've had this for less than a year. They've fallen onto my partner's foot, and even cracked the tile in our basement. Do NOT get these - they don't last and are dangerous! When we talked to the seller, they said it was "normal wear and tear". Would not recommend.
